    Thanks so much for sharing. Your incisions look really good. I need a tummy tuck and breast lift. I need a thigh lift as well but uh.. I think I will like with my legs.. lol That looks painful. Did you have a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening as well?

    Hi Krisann, May I ask the price for the tummy tuck procedure you had done and how much pain was involved. I had 6 surgeries in my life so no stranger to pain and my sleeve wasn't a walk in the park either. I know I will have to self pay for both my procedures. The breast lift and TT. Just trying to get an idea. I know all the surgeons differ. Thank you!

  7. I have tried making my own frappes I just don't like them much. However, I have found this new protein shake at Walmart called Six Star French Vanilla. I usually drink premier or myoplex lite chocolate. I've never liked vanilla ones but this one is pretty good. Yesterday on my fast, I mixed a cup of coffee with half the shake with one tablespoon of creamer. I had that through lunch yesterday. So it got me through. I've also added ice to make an iced coffee. I lost only a pound on my fast yesterday. I had 550 calories. A pound every fast day and keeping it off would be great, huh??

    You look absolutely awesome!! I want this so badly. Like you, it would be my dream come true. I started out at 294 and my goal is 150. I'm 5'6" and I still have a few pounds to go but it is slow going. I'm trying the 5.2 way of eating now to see if I can get the scale to move. I also had to pay for my surgery and am still paying on it because my insurance had an exclusion in the policy for WLS even though our premiums monthly are 1300.00. So frustrating. So, I know I will have to get the surgery paid off before I can even think of plastics. I want it so bad!!! Anyway, again you look awesome and I'm so happy for you. I've been worried about the pain as well. My sleeve surgery wasn't a walk in the park and I've had 5 other surgeries that weren't hard at all. So, hoping this isn't as bad as the sleeve was for me. Keep posting those pics. So inspiring.

    Yes we do have the same re birthday. I need plastics as well and am in the same boat. Money issues because insurance didn't pay for my surgery. Still paying on it. Hopefully, when I have the surgery paid off I will be able to get plastics and will have been at goal awhile by then. Cowgirljane, looking forward to seeing before and afters of your plastics. Hope you will share!
  12. So far so good today on my fast! I feel great as right now. I had a protein shake and coffee no sugar. I will eat my meal tonight at 7 or so.

    I loved reading this!! I just am now trying the 5.2 diet and did well the first week and not so well the second because of my birthday. I'm back on it now and fasting today, then next week will go back to Monday's and Thrusdays. This is so encouraging to me!! I have been trying to get to my goal of 150- 154 seems like forever. I'm 16 months out as of tomorrow. I'm hoping to join the 5.2 group after this week of fasting. I need the encouragment. Congratulations, and you give me hope of losing this last bit of weight! When you say you fasted from 7 at night till one the next day; did you drink coffee or anything in the mornings before besides Water?
  14. I do use my fitness pal. I need to use it every single day. Sometimes I don't. So it is time for me to do this. I really don't want to gain. I've actually been really blessed to have had only 3 or 4 gains during this entire journey. But I know that can change very quickly now that I'm able to eat more.
  15. I don't do too many carbs at all. The bread for me yesterday was the first in a long time. On feast days the coffee frappe is the highest calorie item I have. If it wasn't for that I would be losing, I think. Not sure but I know it doesn't help and I'm not eathing the things I need to compensate for it. I have to stop it. I wish I had never been introduced to that stupid frappe. I had not even had one ever until March of this year when on vacation and my daughter ordered one and I tasted hers. That was it. I was hooked. Also, that is when it began. It took a long time for me to get from 180 to where I am now. I think that is the cause. The being able to eat alot of food has just happened recently. Today is a fast day for me. So encourage away girls. I will get back to the Monday and Thursday's next week. So I'm doing it today!!
  16. I did well the first week. I lost 4 pounds and thought wow, this is really going to work. Then my birthday was on Friday and there it was.... Birthday Cake! My weakness is sugar. I ate way too much and gained all the weight back. Then I was able to lose back to where I originally was. No progress really. It is my fault though because I think I'm eating the wrong things and too much on feast days. I feel like I can eat so much more in the last two weeks. Like I've not has surgery at all. So scary for me!! I feel like I did at 294 pounds. Out of control again and food is the boss. I hate this feeling. I'm not giving up though or quitting. I'm going to try this again. The rest of this week and weekend I'm going to try and get control and maybe some of my restriction back eating more Protein and less crap. LOL Then on Monday I'm going to try the fast again. I think I will wait on the breakfast and just have coffee in the morning and around 2 pm have a Protein shake or bar, then my meal around 6. Do any of you feel that you can eat A LOT more now? Like I said earlier, I'm getting really scared about this. I don't want to gain. I know I can too eating this way. I had 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, and a slice of toast. I don't eat bread.... I thought... what am I doing!? That is a lot to consume at one meal. I was able to do it!! UGH... I don't like this.
  17. I am desperate to get to goal. I am 15 months post op and haven't lost anything since MAY!! I'm so frustrated. I've tried eveyrthing. I've gone back to basics, the 5 day pouch test, the 5.2 diet. I lose 5 pounds and it comes back on. I walk 4 times per week and I can't do much more because I have 8 bulging disc in my neck and back, also stenosis, and many other issues with my spine as well. I have been blessed to lose 126 pounds. I really want to get to 154 to be a normal weight. I never thought it would be this hard to lose this last bit. I'm so frustrated!!!!!! UGH! Should I just go on a liquid fast for 2 weeks? Should I eat 1200 calories a day or 1000 or what? I've read that if I don't eat enough, I won't lose. If I eat too much I won't lose. What do I do?? Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful! I am. I know I've come a long way. If any of you have any advice for me, please help!!!
  18. I get it from Walmart. Gortons. It is in a yellow box... It is YUMMY!! I put it in the microwave for 3.35 min.
  19. Sounds good! I eat alot of the signature grilled tilapia. It has 80 calories for one serving. Love it! It is so good.

  21. WOW... so excited. Another pound lost this morning. That is 4 since Monday. It is wonderful seeing the scale go down. I'm excited about my next fast day tomorrow. I know that the first 3 pounds was probably water I had gained but who cares!! Losing 4 pounds is going in the right direction! I don't care how long it takes me to get to goal as long as the scale is moving! Yippee! I'm very happy about this! So glad I have my sleeve buddies to do this with!! Kristie and Kelly congrats! Are you guys looking forward to tomorrow? Have your meals planned? I can't wait to see the 159 on that scale! That may be awhile but at least the scale is moving!!!!

  23. Way to go! That is great!!! I weighed this morning and it was the first fast day. I lost 3 pounds but I had gained three pounds so I'm back to where I was of 167. I would be very happy to get below that!
  24. Seems so. I don't get the lack of support in that group. We have been together since the start of our journey in May 2012. I felt it a nice change to come back here. I seem to have people that give me more feedback and wish me well genuinely. So thanks to you all !
