Hi i was banded on may 8 & on the second day after my Sergey I was feeling so bad the pain was also below my rib cage, I immediately call my sis in law because she was also banded about four years ago, she told me it was gas trap & for me to buy gas x strips & I would feel much better, sure enough about 30 to an hour I felt much better & i haven't had that trouble since, but I sure will keep them in hand..

Hi everyone I need some prayers I'm going in for my band Sergey on May 8 thats a week from today, I'm so excited! But I have to say as the time is getting closer I'm alittle scared.. I also wanted to get some feed back on what can we really eat or is it nothing but liquid on the preop diet if so like what just protein shakes is all we can have how about egg drop soup

Omg!! Thanks so much but honestly i hadn't heard anyone mention that's! But u bet I will be asking on my next visit it may because it to early for them to be sharing that Info with me or maybe because i haven't had my Sergey yet... I'm alittle confused what is the fills for? That's something I haven't heard about although I haven't gone for my Sergey but Ive gone through everything else just waiting for approval on the insurance but never have I heard about the fills.? How much are the fills & how often do we need them.. that's really something to think about if we don't have the same ins or don't have Ins anymore after you've done the Sergey.. hmmm!

Heck! 60 pounds thats really good!! Congrats if I can lose that much i would be happy too.! My weight is 208 & if i lost that much i would be at 148 heck come on insurance company...lol! I so ready for it!!

Omg! Wow that's really good I'm happy to hear it makes a big difference in peoples life... Wow! that's incredible u lost alot of weight! I am awaiting my Sergey hoping I get the approval really soon.!! I have a friend that did the Sergey last week and she's doing really good even hours after her Sergey she look pain free..!
