I just went through a new sleep study test and have been informed by my doctor that I no longer need to use my CPAP machine! Yay! I am down 76 pounds as of today and love my sleeve.

Lisa2job. I sent you a friend request on MFP. Your weight loss is fantastic! I've lost 32 lbs with half of that presurgery. My WLS was a breeze, too. No complications -- yay. Have had the foamies when I eat too much or my tummy isnt ready for the food. Hard to know my limits but I'm learning.

I've Been Sleeved!
ANd feel pretty good considering it was only done yesterday. Surgery went well -it went faster than anticipated even with a hiatal hernia repair. Today even after they took me off the pain drip six hours ago iM just now asking for a shot. So the pain hasn't been too overwhelming. The gas is moderate and I've been drinking fairly well. Thanks to the great staff at Greater Baltimore Medical Center!

Couldnt Do Surgery-Liver Size
Wow, my doctor requires would-be patients to agree to an open surgery IF for any reason, including large liver, they can't do it laproscopically. What an unfortunate suprise for you. If you really want this, I'm sure you'll manage the 20 lbs though I know it will be hard. Good luck. I feel for you.

Pre-Op Stomach Grumblings
I'm finding that a protein drink helps alieve the hunger pains some. I also have been eating the occasional cheese stick as my pre-op diet is high-protein, low-carb for 12 days, then 2 days clear liquids.

Isopure....no.
You might try diluting it with water. I know, means more liquid! Or adding crystal light powder to the container. It makes it a bit more palatable.

Your Post Op Diet?
Mine is a little different. 2 days clear liquids, 1 week full liquids, 1 week puree and 2 weeks soft foods, then reintroduce regular foods one at a time
