I know, I can hear the comments already but I am frustrated with the wait for my paperwork to be received by my WLS doctor. I had to have a stress test-14 June , then wait while the doc went on vacation-10 July, and now wait on them to finish the paperwork and mail to my WLS doc! I'm calling the WLS coordinator again on Tuesday with the fervent hope that all paperwork is received and I can be scheduled for my final consult with the surgeon. It will be a miracle if I can have my WLS in August. Sigh.

Cpap Question
besquared1426 replied to Fallenangel2904's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Foxyroxy - my surgeon was/is the same way. I had to provide a minimum one month's proof that I use the CPAP regularly. It is being included in the paperwork going to my insurance. -

Frustrated With The Wait

Okay, it's not quite as good as a surgery date but my WLS coordinator said my paperwork is finally complete. Yay! Tomorrow I get scheduled for my final surgeon consult. -
Well, lucky me I guess. I just met the 5 grand oop so I no longer have to worry about my co-pay for WLS. Thank goodness I have an FSA.

Good luck and hang in there. I hit the three-month mark as reqd by my insurance only to have a required cardiac clearance add two months to my timeline! I was hoping for late July now it looks like my WLS will be in September. -
I'm reading it right now. I agree with you. Very timely and very true.

How Long Are You Off From Work
besquared1426 replied to lowe1961's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
MY doctor recommends 3 weeks off, plus two nights in the hospital. And that's for those of us with desk jobs! -
Congratulations on your successful surgery and good luck in the coming months.
