  3. I'm 3 weeks out and can eat an entire large boiled egg. I make it into egg salad with Greek yogurt, mustard, cumin, and pepper. One of my favorite go to meals. Sent from my iPad using VST
  4. No problems with my current regimen, but when Vitamins have made me sick in the past, I was told to use flintstones chewables. They are not as harsh and are also oaken by my surgeon. Sent from my iPad using VST
  5. I'm 3 weeks out and not cleared for weights until 4 weeks, but I was told that I can use resistance bands and walk. I'm not even supposd to be on the treadmill, but I do alternating between a speed of 2.5 and 3.0. I could probably go faster but I keep thinking, what if I fall, how would I explain that when I'm not even supposed to be at the gym. Lol Sent from my iPad using VST

  8. I was prescribes a capsule and told to open it up and sprinkle it into applesauce. I actually just put it in my morning Protein shake because then I can't taste the grit. It made my applesauce too gritty. The argument against putting it in a drink is that you may not finish the drink, but I always make sure I finish my morning Protein Drink. 16. I think we all go through the mourning phase at some point or another. Totally normal. Right now you can only take 4 bites, but that will change. Let yourself feel your emotions, but don't allow yourself to be consumed by those feelings. It's okay to be sad and even mad. Eventually you will come to acceptance and know that this is the greatest gift you could give yourself. Hang in there. It does get better.
  17. I walked every 2 hours for the first couple of days. Then we hit a heat wave here and I walked 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon. I got bored with that and snuck back to the gym (was supposed to wait until a month out). I only do the treadmill for an hour. The liquid diet does get boring. I did broth with unjury chicken soup flavor, protein jello, sf popscicles, water, crystal light. About a week out I was okayed for yogurt, so I had that as well. I'm on purees now and loving the variety.
  18. Sending you good luck vibes. Try not to be nervous and show all that you know.
  19. I was told to start all vitamins on the puree stage (2 weeks). As long as its not bigger than a pencil eraser I can swallow it. Bigger than that I need to crush. Capsules I break open and sprinkle in my food.
  20. Phone, iPad, (and chargers), Chapstick. Everything else I needed was given to me. Sent from my iPad using VST
