  6. I had my breakdown on the 4th of July. It's not like I would have done anything anyway. It was the fact that I COULDN'T eat anything. I had my good cry, ate some sf Popsicles and got over it. Sent from my iPad using VST
  7. 10 days out and no blisters here. My steri strips were taken off by the doc on day 8. I just wash my incisions in the shower, pat dry and put on my shirt. Nothing tight, so it still gets air. I agree, stop popping the blisters. And let your incisions breathe. Sent from my iPad using VST
  8. I'm 10 days out and haven't puked yet. #knock wood I measure my food and only take 4 ounces at a time. I can drink much more Water than that. I was trying to drink more Protein as well and found myself getting hot flashes, weak, and that I had to lay down. Then it finally dawned on me that I was trying to take in too much protein at once. I have since cut back my Protein shakes to 4 ounces at a time and no more ill feelings. Hope that helps n Sent from my iPad using VST
  9. Looks delish! Can't wait to try them. Sent from my iPad using VST
  10. Awesome! I took my measurements the day I committed to the surgery, the day before surgery and plan on taking them monthly. Sent from my iPad using VST
  11. I was just cleared today to drive (1week out). I was originally told 2 weeks. I was going a bit stir crazy. Lol Sent from my iPad using VST
  12. Phew! Glad to hear it was just a misunderstanding. Sent from my iPad using VST
  13. I am also one week out. Today was the first day the head hunger has messed with my head. I have not felt hunger or even been tempted to eat until today. Come on purées. Sent from my iPad using VST
  14. Sounds yummy! Sent from my iPad using VST
  15. That is awesome! I'm on 2 weeks of liquids (day 5) then on to 2 weeks of puréed. I'm thinking puréed Soups, not sure what else. Right now I have to purée and strain my soups. Oh, yeah, and I think I can add yogurt during the puréed phase. Sent from my iPad using VST
  16. I was tod at least a month. Bummer, because I signed up for a Water aerobics class that starts next week. Thankfully I was able to get a refund for the class. Sent from my iPad using VST
  17. Woot! Congrats!, Sent from my iPad using VST
  18. I started watching what I ate, making healthier choices, and logging all of my food on MFP a month or so before surgery. I also did the back to basics bootcamp challenge on this site 5 days before my doc's official pre-op, all liquid, diet. I can say, for me, it was best to wean myself into the pre-op diet rather than go cold turkey. I also worked out 6-7 days a week leading up to surgery. Once I made the commitment to have this surgery I made the commitment to change my life forever. No last meals or food funerals. Sent from my iPad using VST
  19. Count me in. I'm a new sleever, 1 week out, and first time challenger. I have no idea how I'll loose with the sleeve, so I'll set a somewhat ambitious goal and work my tail off to get there. SW 226 CW 222 Challenge GW 200 Drink 80 ounces of water/day Wish me luck! Sent from my iPad using VST
  20. Congrats on the loss. I'm also a week out today. I'm down 4 pounds from my pre-surgery weight. But if you count the 10 pounds I gained in the hospital (gas and IV fluids) I'm down 14. In your 16 pound loss are you counting pre- or post- surgery? A loss is a loss and to be celebrated, im just curious. Sent from my iPad using VST
  21. You look amazing! Keep up the good work! Sent from my iPad using VST
