  1. Is anyone still around? If so' date=' how are you doing now? Me: 5 foot tall Started at 215 Now: 130 Goal was 115, but I wonder how that will look... I'm pretty thin right now at 130. I have kind of large muscles and bones... I am going to take it 10 pounds at a time right now. My new goal right now is 122. I had the surgery on June 20, 2012.[/quote']

Wow! You've done great. I just popped back on. Haven't been on in a while. 5'4". Started at 245 surgery June 27th. Now 168. Hoping to get to 150 and take it pound by pound after that.

  2. I have no suggestion for the hair loss..I've been losing mine since 3 months out. But if you are stalling that long' date=' I'd try shaking things up a bit. Change your caloric intake or Lilmissdiva's bootcamp might be a good place to start,,it's worth a try. Cutting carbs helped me shed 6 pounds in 1 week and I always felt full. Slowly adding back healthy carbs this week and the weightloss slowed down but I'm still losing. Logging what you eat in a journal or at myfitnesspal.com helps you see exactly what you are taking in. Increase exercise might be another avenue you can take. I'm so sorry things aren't working out for you this far out.[/quote']

    Great suggestions.

  3. I have been losing slowly (according to my own standards) and have had thoughts that I could have lost this much on my own. The difference, however, is that without the sleeve I would have reverted to former eating habits with the slow loss. So I'll take slow knowing that I can't go back to binging and unhealthy eating habits. One piece of advice that I took from this forum was to take measurements. I took them before surgery and monthly after. When that dangone scale is refusing to move and I see the inches falling off, it's all worth it.

  4. It sounds like your daughter needs some serious professional help. I would call the local police where she's at and ask them to do a wellness check on her. She has already threatened serious harm to herself' date=' so a psyche evaluation may be in order. The police or hospitals in most states can do a three day admission to a facility to help someone calm themselves down. If the problem is more serious, or needs medication, that three day stay can be a Godsend to save someone's life.

Please act now. You could be saving your daughter's life. I know you don't want to do anything to harm her, but you cannot let someone in that mental state be alone. Better to over react on this occasion than to plan a funeral.[/quote']

    Great advice.

  5. When I decided to get the surgery I decided to "give it my all" from that moment forward. No more slacking. When I feel like giving up in the gym, I remind myself that I am "GivingItMyAll" and push through.
