  1. I was a big water drinker before my surgery. It took me a good 6 weeks before I could drink it without a weird pain/queasy sensation. Before that I had to mix in a little crystal light. In the last few days (8 weeks post op now) I've been able to chug a little bit. Experiment with the water temperature, ice cold works best for me but some had theirs warm.
  2. I think some guys are embarrassed to complain. I know I don't like to. Some of us prefer to bottle it up and appear "stronger" or more macho. Probably not the healthiest thing to do.
  3. This was my 2nd plateau (stalled the 3rd week) but it finally ended today! Hope yours ends soon.
  4. I'm going on 2 weeks no net loss (7.5 weeks out). I'm soooooo frustrated. I know it's normal and I know the weight will drop again, it still sucks!

  6. Yeah I felt the same for the first 4 weeks. I was drinking a lot of skim milk.

  8. You can buy protein shots at gnc and online. I just bought some but haven't tried one yet. I'll try to report back when I do.
  9. I didn't have KP but I'd be surprised with your high blood pressure and bmi over 40 that you would get denied.

  11. I tried all temperatures: cold, ice cold, warm, hot, room. They all made me feel equally gross.
  12. Yeah, it would make my stomach really uncomfortable. It was a weird pain and almost like nausea. Kinda hard to explain but really unpleasant. Fortunately I've been at able to drink about 30 oz so far today without any discomfort.
  13. Day three for me. They gave me two meds: a pill and patch. The patch helped more as taking the pill crushes made me sick. After day three I stopped those meds.
  14. Oh weird, I just posted that today I could finally drink water again. I'm also 6 weeks post op. I had just tried a few days ago and couldn't. Hopefully you'll be able to very soon!
  15. Finally, after 6 weeks, I can drink water again without discomfort. I was having to drink crystal light and propel exclusively. I was getting so sick of it. Now I just can't wait until I can chug water after a workout!
  16. I stalled the second week. In the third week sometime I lost three lbs overnight. The human body is a funny thing.
  17. A low grade fever (below 101) is normal the first 2-3 days. I ran 100.5 for 3 days and was told not to come in.
  18. The gummies do taste way better but my doctors office advises against them as they can be more difficult to absorb.
