  1. Hey ladies...glad everyone is doing well. Had a follow-up with the surgeon today and he says begin maintenance. I am 5'9" and 166. Happy medium. My BMI still says overweight but I wear size 6 clothes!
  2. Hello all. I was sleeved 12/16/13. I am 5'9" start weight was 256lbs. I was pre diabetic, cholesterol was high and I had acid reflux. I currently weigh 195lbs. Labs are great. I feel wonderful!   3. That chest pain/stuck feeling is normal...I had it in the hospital and thru week 1....every now and then if I drink too fast or the liquid is too cold I still feel that way.

  5. Yessssss!!! I wish I had more energy, but I understand my body is still healing. I went to a basketball game yesterday...standing room only...I was exhausted and still feeling it today!!
  6. Hey all!! Sleeved 12/16 Sw;252, morning of surgery 236, CW 210. Having a relatively easy go of it. Protein shakes are no longer my friend and I have lots of fatigue, but no pain, no problems getting my fluids in either.
  7. I pureed some turkey and sweet potatoes with the juice from the potatoes...3 bites later I was stuffed!! They were the best 3 bites EVER! Im on full liquid, but got the ok to puree some Christmas dinner from my surgeon yesterday.
  8. My surgeon just set a 160lb goal for me...Im 5'9. I am good with 170. We shall see!

  11. Ewww a blister...oh my! The incision to the right of my belly button hurts from coughing. I'm still sleeping in the recliner, laying flat is not comfortable at all. The good thing is I am actually sleeping!!
  12. Surgery was 12/16 and I believe I have the itchiest incisions in the world!! That is my chief complaint at this point so I suppose I am lucky. I am still on clear liquids and I don't move to fulls until Tuesday. I am looking forward to adding to my diet. When will this itching stop?? Ugghhhh!
  13. I was told to rest and get my water in. Im really liking chicken broth!! So far its my favorite! I start protein next week.
  14. My favorite is waking up coughing!! That shit hurts!
  15. How is everyone doing? Im at home sipping on my water, taking pain pills, and zofran. Not feeling as bad as I thought i would.

  18. I am 5'9" and started at 253lbs. 7 days,in my pre-op diet I am 244. My goal is 170. Planning to re-evaluate when I get there.

  20. Where are my notifications? I am using the android app. I get the email, but then I have to go to participated to find it on here. Is that the only way?
  21. I think they are going to turn me away before I get on the table.
