When People Tell You How You've Changed
Today I had a call from my health nurse from my insurance company. After reviewing everything and giving explaination about food, meds, health she said something the made me think. She stated how happy I sounded. She was right. I am happy. Happy to be healty. Happy to have almost 100-lbs off my body in the last year. Happy to clean out my closet (shoes and clothes). Happy when I walk. Happy when I talk. Happy...Period. But then she had me thinking. I realized over the last few week how many people tell me I look so happy. One of my co-worker stated, "you're looking great, but I cannot believe the change in your personality". I asked him what he meant by that. He said, you just looked so down for so long...just plain unhappy. I never realized that my weight made me so unhappy. I never realized the outward apperance I was showing people. I always thought I was happy, but I guess my face and my actions provided a different oppinion. I now realize I hid from life for the last few years. I even lost my best friends because of it a few months ago. They haven't even seen my transformation, but they know I had the surgery. I wonder if they would even understand. They took it personally that I did want to go. In closing your sleeve will rock your world and bring about many transformations you never knew you had. I'm grateful for the support and guidence I have recieved both on this forum and in life. Thank you all for being so great! Love to All, Cheles! Wanted to post a pre-op pic from last June.

Lets Be An Encouragement To Newcomers
I'm 11-weeks out. Learning when is when in my new tummy. I like this one because I cannot believe that I only eat this much food. Emptying out my entire closet which I completed this past friday Buying clothes in the regular women's area and not the plus sized XL tops and 16's at this time! Buying my 1st pair of size 14 jeans...yeah, I think I was in high school the last time I did that. Buying shoes because I lost a shoe size. Hearing all the wonderful compliments instead of seeing people look down at me because of my weight. Crossing my legs...I so missed doing that. Hearing my husband tell me I'm beautiful. Hearing my dad tell me how proud he is of me. Knowing I can workout and love it. Knowing I have control now.

Water And Working Out
I don't have a trainer, yet. But I started by going to a toning class twice a week and then doing cardio 2-times a week. Now I focus on curcit and cardio 3-4 times a week. As for motivation...it's more willpower then anything. Don't get me wrong. There are a few times that I only made it twice a week like this week, but I am determined to continue on the path to good health.

Water And Working Out
I go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week to workout on cardio and strength. What I've noticed is it's difficult for me to drink water while I'm working out. Is this normal? And if so, when should I be able to get fuilds back in me?

One Year Ago Today I Changed The Course Of My Life
Wow. Congrats on your hard work. You look amazing!

Best/worst
Hardest thing so far is that I actually gained a pound this week, but that was my own doing. Best thing, hearing everyone say how great I look, or that they didn't recognize me.

Carecredit Question
My understanding is it's just like a normal credit care. You can pay it off early without any penalty.

It Was Good, But Should I Feel Bad
So true, except for the fries...I would have had 2-potato cakes! This sandwich lasted two meal, and I didn't go over my daily limts on carbs. In fact, it was the 1st time in months I actually exceeded 30-carbs. I generally stay around 30. My limits are 30-60. Carbs were my large part of my life. I've not really missed them or candy or sweets. If I am really wanting something I do have a piece (fun size) of candy or a bite or two of bread. That's all I need. The odd part about all this sandwich was it was the 1st time in 2-months my sleeve quit making bubbling noises. That's not to say I'm going to have a sandwich daily, but it was nice not listening to it bubble for hours.

It Was Good, But Should I Feel Bad
Today was a first. Today we went to Arby's for lunch. I ordered a Beef and Cheddar and actually ate 1/2 of it. Then, over the next 5-hours; I ate the other half. Yay, I actually ate a 1 sandwich in a 5-hour period. Booo...it really wasn't a good choice.

Cold Drink Intolerance
Good to know. I too cannot handle the cold stuff, but the warm or room temp is fine.

Starting To Notice! Big Time
Good for you! You should be proud of how you've taken control over your life. And as for the above statement...I know just how you feel. I get the same reaction from the clique where I work. I abore these women too and will never be there friend.

What Should I Try And Stock Up On?
I stocked up on homemade stock both beef and chicken and Premier Protien from Sam's/Costco. My suggestion is to try the protein supplements to find which one you like.
