Well I just saw my NUT and now I'm in a room waiting on my Dr. This is the last time I'll see him before my surgery on June 4th. Nervous, excited,scared doesn't begin to cover it!!! This is actually happening!

But he doesn't have a crystal ball and complications do happen but because I am relatively young with no comorbitities the chances are pretty slim.

Anyone else here not do a preop diet? I'm June the 4th I go to see the surgeon on the 29th and also have a preop class on the 30th. But there is no preop diet other than 2 days of clears before surgery. I see everyone on here doing 2 weeks and it scares me! What if my liver is too big? Ect,ect,ect! I trust my surgeon and staff the center is a center for bariatric excellence and he is a top trained surgeon. People from all over the country come to him for their surgery and his complication rate is well below the national average. I know he knows what he is doing but it's all so confusing lol! I'm gonna make a list of questions for when I see him next week. Sorry for the long rant!

My gnc is just across the street from my house so of course I ran straight over lol but it was a no-go here I'm in southern West Virginia. Thanks for the heads up anyway!

Nerves are getting to me. Surgery is June 4th. Last preop appointment is the 29th and preop class is the 30th. Everything else is done! No preop diet to speak of really just last 2 days before surgery clear liquids only!

I have been curious about this too since I will be on vacation when I start mushies.

My surgery is scheduled for June 4th I am leaving for vacation to the outer banks on June 16th. I will be driving since it will just be my 2 sons ages 8 & 10 with me but I am meeting my parents and my sister and her family there. What do you guys think ? Will my energy level be up enough? According to my NUT's diet I will be starting mushies on week 3. Just wanted some experienced sleevers opinion on this. Thanks in advance!

We will mainly be going to the beach and laying by the pool. We only eat one dinner out the whole week so I'm not too concerned about the restaurant aspect and I've already told my sis no heavy lifting so somebody better be getting my bags! Lol I plan to lay around and sip all day the most strenuous activity will probably be beach combing but I love the water any idea about swimming? Pool or ocean? Thanks for your replies!

June 4th seems so soon! They told me to expect a mid June early July date but insurance came back with an approval in 3 days instead of weeks like we anticipated! I feel like everything has just fallen into place so it must be meant to be but I'm still nervous as all get out! I wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep each other updated on our progress! I have friends that support me but none are overweight so they really don't fully understand. I love this forum!!

June 4th!!

I have a similar recipe and they are the softest, moistest peanut butter cookies ever! 2 eggs 2 cups peanut butter 2 cups sugar Mix and spoon onto baking sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 until done let completely cool before removing from pan. A friend of mine suggested using Splenda for baking to make it sleeve friendly. Do you guys think that would work??

Hi all my surgery is scheduled for June 4th! I was submitted to insurance for approval on the 8th of May and 3 days later it was approved! I have been very blessed throughout this whole process everything has went so smoothly and quickly that I feel as if it was just meant to be. I am beginning to get nervous now though!! Let's help each other through this and rock our June sleeves!!!
