  4. reading your comment made me cry. that is and was so very nice of you to post that. ((thank you))

  7. it felt odd saying (thank you). wonder if i will get use to that... your words mean everything floridays
  8. out of the blue today a co worker of mine (who i rarely see) as she is in another part of the office/building... well she came up to me this morning and said, you are looking so great. i could only think of one thing to say, thank you.. *strange how something from someone can make you whole day*
  9. if worried, call and let your doctor know and advise you. (could be anything from gas to scar tissue forming).
  10. bucket list: to wear my blue jean skirts again (i have them near by and each week, i am getting closer to getting them on) walking a mile (now up to nearly 2 blocks a day) walking with with my hub around flea market and not feel he is embarrassed to be with me to go to hubs mc's first spring/summer cook out and NOT be the biggest girl there (now it will be the guys)
  11. she got to meet me in her 6 month and made her life even better
  12. add me to this list..i am not as long banded as some, i also can eat whatever. i am just real picky to not eat junk, processed and non filling foods..
  13. i didnt......i have coffee the day after surgery...my dr and nutritionist gave me handouts on what i could eat/drink etc....and nothing on there about caffeine. you can always check with your doctor to be sure (as we should anyhow). congrats on your recent surgery
  14. what a great accomplishment for you. a co worker at my work sells them for his daughter every year i buy some and this year was no different. except my first year banded......and so i bought 2 and put them in a care box and sent them to my son who is in the air force in ok city.. helped the girl scouts and helped myself too..
  15. all sorts of yummies to fill you up nothing wrong with carbs except (in my opinion only) they do not fill you up... lean Proteins (beef, chicken, fish, beans) and veggies and fruit...will fill you up. like cheryl and m1 man said, eat more filling foods to fill you up you cant be afraid to eat. eat small bites, chew alot and go slow. hang in there donna as you and i were banded around the same time frame look how far you have come.....so keep going.
