  1. I can not feel my port where it was and I am having pain in the left side of my abdomen. I can feel something under the skin just below my rib cage. It has been moving upward for the last week. When I extend my arms above my head to stretch I feel like a pulling sensation in the area where the bump is.

    Anyone Living In South Korea?

Hello koreabandster! I am in Hannam Dong. I was banded by Dr. Kang @ Seoul Sky Hospital. I do not know how to "PM" >.<
  3. After reading other posts I was thinking that it may be from over eating or constipation/gas. Thx for your thoughts!
  4. I am happy to have found this site! I am in Seoul South Korea and not had any others to discuss my Lapland with. So, I had my Lapland put on Dec 16th @ an international hospital in Seoul. The surgery went well. I did have an issue with the site @ my belly button, it got infected and would not heal. I took antibiotics and cleared the infection and he ended up stapling the site for it to heal closed. I had my first fill already. He took out 6 and put in 9. Yes, I did say that he removed 6 and put in 9. When he did the surgery he had put 6 in the band. My first fill was done 5 wks later. I have lost 26 lbs. I have never thrown up. Two times I have eaten too quickly and felt it stuck and felt very uncomfortable. Until about a month ago I was almost scared to eat and ate very very slow and very little. However in the last month I have done HORRIBLE! I eat slow still but I am eating garbage ( sugars, carbs). I know that I can only eat a little at a time so I graze on bad foods all day. I have lost no weight because of this. I am back to reality and know that I need to eat the right foods and listen better to my band. I also need to exercise more, I work long hours and it is easy to make excuses! But I do not want to end up looking like a flabby person, trading being fat for being a thinner but flabby loose skin person is not my idea of success. So now I feel like I can 'get it together' and get back to eating correctly, exercising and losing weight. My concern at this time is I do have this sharp pain in my side ( sometimes left and sometimes right) it is not constant but comes and goes. It kinda feels like when you are running and then get that pain in your side that makes you grab it and stop running , breath deeply until it goes away. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Anyone have that same pain? Thanks for your input!
  5. I had the band placed on Dec 16th 2011 in Seoul. Anyone else on this site in South Korea?
