  2. Why am I having so much trouble? I wish I was down 33 pounds! I was banded Feb 23, and go for my first fill on Friday (4/6). I lost 12 pounds prior to my first post op appointment, and to date have not lost another ounce. I am being very vigilant to the diet, drinking Water, getting my Protein, and even joined Curves, but it just won't come off. Some say that this is "bandster hell" and I hope they're right and it will start coming off after my first fill, because I am getting very frustrated!

Dont get down on yourself...I to was banded on 2/22 and i have walked every day watched what Im eatting and only 3 lbs down since surgery....I will get my first fill on Thursday so Im hopefull that will kick start my scale again !! I bet you will too...

  4. Thanks for sharing Karry and your wife sounded awsome !

As for my story I have always been over weight, and I have a identical twin sister that has always been 50 to 100 lbs smaller then me....and I always wanted to wear the things she could wear. Now Im 53 ys old and still married to my high school sweetheart 35 yrs now. We have 2 bio sons and 4 adopted sons and 1 adopted daughter ( ages range 35 to 7 )and 6 grandchildren. Last year we went on a Make A Wish vacation for one of our sons and when I seen the pictures I was agasp...It was then that I decided I wanted to be around for my children and be able to do all the things I want to with them.So far its been wonderful..my family and my twin sister have been right here helping me every day.
