Second Fill
I have found that after I have my fills I don't immediately have restriction the first few hours. I also stick with liquids the first 24 hours. I usually fill the restriction the next morning when I wake up. I have heard it takes a little while for the fill to actually reach the band itself. I bet you will fill it in the morning for sure. Good Luck

Lap Banders Only Lose 55% Of Their Excess Weight??
Do not listen to the negative talk. I came here first also before I had my surgery and did my research here. My findings here was that 95% of the banders here were happy with their band. They are all doing great. I have found that the other 5% have either not followed the rules on what the doctors said to do, they didn't have the will power to start with or a small percentage have had faulty issues with surgery which is a small number. Like I said above I am doing well, most of the people that were banded in Feb 2012 are doing well, they people that were banded by my doctor are doing well so you do your soul searching and go with what you feel is right. You can do this.... Don't listen to negative people!! Good luck to you.

Am I Too Tight...
Pacing always seems to make my pain worse. Just relax and it will pass. I still love my band, I don't regret any of the pain. For me it's just a learning experience. Hope u feel better soon.

Am I Too Tight...
I have done that before also. It will stop, just don't eat anything else until you stop getting sick.

Am I Too Tight...
I have the same problem after I get my fills. I do liquids just fine but when I eat food I would have the same problems. I have discovered that I have to learn how to eat slower after every fill. It just takes time is what my doctor tells me. Good luck to you.

Loosing Weight But Getting Some Skin
Congrats on the weight loss. I was at a support group just this past week and their was a lady there that had also lost over 100 lbs and she mentioned that she has developed a severe rash where her skin was hanging. She had been going to her regular medical doctor repeatedly for these rashes and nothing was helping. So now her insurance is paying for her to have a tummy tuck because of all the loose skin and the medical issue with the rashes. I would call your medical doctor see what they can do for you. Just a thought..... Good luck.

4.2 Cc In A 10 Cc. Band. Is That A Lot
My first fill was 4cc, 2nd was .5cc and the 3rd which was just last week was 1cc for a total of 5.5cc and I am still getting hungry in the afternoons like crazy. I will be glad when I can get some restrictions. Good luck to you....

Protein Shake
After trying so many Protein shakes and hating them all I finally found one that I think you will love. I am actually addicted to them. They are made by HealthSmart and they are called ChocoRite Protein Shakes. They have various flavors but my favs are Peanut Butter, strawberry, banana, cappacinno and chocolate. Here is a webste where I buy mine from http://www.netrition.com It says mix 2 scoops with Water for 150 calories and 24 grams of protein but I didn't like the water base so my doctor said I could use skim or 1% milk and omg that made them so good. He said all the milk does is boost your protein and calories just a little. Try them, I think you will be satisfied with them. Good luck!!!!

Is Having Good And Bad Days Part Of The Lap-Band Journey?
Tomorrow will be 9 weeks since I had my surgery, I am down 34 lbs since I started my pre op diet 2 weeks before surgery and I worry about my band & port area. It is getting easier everyday though because I stay focused on what I eat, making sure I get all of my protein, staying within my calories, getting my exercise and making sure I drink all my water daily. It will get easier with time. You will do fine and don't worry about your band. It is your friend and it is working for you to get you healthier. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Soft Food Ideas
I just came back from a meeting with my nutritionist and I am 7 weeks post op, she said I needed to start eating different meats because I have been eating mainly fish & chicken. She even mentioned a roast cooked in the crock pot would be very tender and something good for me to eat as long as it is very lean. So I would say it would be great for you in small portions.
