Does anyone know if there is a difference to our bodys drinking bottled water to faucet water? I realize that there are different minerals, but is it enough to notice?

I think it has finally sunk in, (after 5 years) to my co-workers that no I don't want to partake in your pastry gluttony every other morning. I don't want to join in your Starbucks morning (or afternoon) break runs to nearby store. That while you eat your ice creams I am fine with a cup of jello /banana or my cashews/almonds/or chickpeas/raisins. That all I see (and I've told them) is a pile a sugar. That while they "lumber" down the hallway, I walk down the hallway, rubbing my stomach up and down, making sure it's still gone. Maybe I'm being harsh, but there is no better example of what I could have been had I not gotten the lap band. It's become almost awkward, because there are 3 of us and at one time we were all on the heavy side. Now there are just 2 and one of us is in size 12 pants not size 20. !

I can't really comment on the co-worker situation, but I definitely know the feeling of looking at almost everything and thinking "sugar" (even if it's not). Luckily it's gotten to be a habit so I'm not really tempted by anything. That said, I'm very accommodating to my co-workers/friends and they to me: if we go to Starbucks I just get a mint tea, and they don't comment at all when we are out at other places and I avoid the rice, noodles, and other breaded items that are so common here in Japan. It's a nice balance. However, we rarely go out so this isn't much of an issue.

Nobody's fault but my own, had to taste test the pumpkin roll, banana pudding, pistachio ambrosia, but hey the yams were at least healthy, checked blood sugar, 117, ok back to fiber bars

Went to the zumba's gym 1 year anniversary 2 hours free zumba..wiggle when I walk

Lost 3 lbs from somewhere, (although I don't feel it) MD asks are you eating the same way , before you had lapband, I said no, He said then you are still ok

At last night's Zumba class, someone came up to me and congratulated me on my weight loss, hips don't lie!

No doctor, it couldn't be the ice cream and the brownies I ate, that made my bp go up, it has to be something else..(invisioning today's dr. appt).

I can only blame myself, really.. and as I track the food I've eaten, again, I do see the pattern (yes after all this time) of what I eat affects me physically. Sugar right now is the number 1 problem, because my body has been without it for so long, it is not liking it anymore, no matter what my tastebuds say!

2nd time in my life, in Rue 21 shop, all the bright colors, and lights, I think I started hyperventilating! I made myself stay and pick out an outfit.

Habits die hard, was riding in step sons new 2014 charger, and everytime I opened the door I opened it slow to make sure door wouldn't hit curb. And each time, it was nowhere near, and the car wasn't sitting low.. NSV

It probably wasn't the best choice of words, when I asked a co-worker to make copies for me, she asked is it hard? she's been here a year and a 1/2 and most of that on her cell phone texting. I said," yes a monkey can do it..."

Been feeling "hefty" lately. Haven't worked out since pneumonia last October. Been thinking about going back. Trying to walk more, work out my arms, just in my daily routine. Even though I feel like jabba the hut, I guess I don't look it. Had someone who sees me once a week, say you're looking good, you've kept your weight off. I'll take that as an NSV!!

It's hard to get back in to working out after an illness or injury. I've had an injury and feeling the same, but good for you, all seems well despite the lack of intentional exercise.

All 'm going to say, is when we go into any kind of surgery, we are aware of risks and told of risks. I really don't want to turn my email notifications off, but all I've been getting are bickering posts about the "supposed or verified deaths of patients".

NSV: tried on new underwear, couldn't tell which were the legs and which was waist everything was same size.. lol

LOL I had to buy a couple of smaller sizes , and even the smaller ones are already getting a bit loose , look at the size you used to fit into , and look at the size now , maybe you will have to take a pic and post of the before and after lol , got to post this as a NSV, as it is , now probally time to get measured to see what size you are on top and bottoms.

NSV!!! my fitbit charging so I put on older watch I got, OMG It's hanging off my wrist like a bracelet. I showed hubby. He says everyone is always telling you , you lost weight and you keep saying no. Now you got prove !!!

Yesterday went to gym for class of PiYo, imagine my surprise when the instructor stood there and said well to RIPPED!

My club had a yardsale this weekend, and donated leftovers, I grabbed stuff for family. Everyone went through it, looked at it, and said this is what WE DONATED!, lol do I know my family or what..

Went home for lunch, chicken drumstick,a dab of mash potatoes n gravy, a dab of spinach dip and 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese... nothing hard about that..and yummy!
