Banded Yesterday, Back At The House Today. Confused About Different Versions Of The 4Th Day To 14 Liquid Items
Personally, I'd listen to the nutritionist. She's the "food expert", the nurse only deals with diet issues as an afterthought.

Gained Weight..help
First, go back and check in with your surgeon. Next, go see your nutritionist. Get on an eating plan to get you back on track. Both of these steps are crucial. I would strongly suggest tracking your daily calorie intake and sticking to a cup or less of food per meal. Tracking calories will not only show you where you need to make changes but also helps keep you accountable. Having bandster sized meals, a cup or less, will help you not only lessen your calorie intake but assure you don't overeat anymore. Best wishes. You did this once before, you can do it again.

Carb Cycling- An Experiment Gone Right!
Hmm...how about chicken or tuna salad? Ricotta cheese? Or, you could cook up a chicken breast, chop it up, and put a bit of chicken broth with it in a blender. Then, it'll be a mushy, taste good, and low carb.

In Extreme Pain
With a blank profile and no background information given, we can't possibly know how to help except tell you to go to your surgeon or ER

Weight Loss Program
You need to ask your insurance company what info they need for that. Only they can give you a definite answer.

Difference Between Pb & Being Stuck
That can be the case, but more often than not the person just took too big of a bite or possibly didn't chew enough. Or, they tried to eat a food that just doesn't agree with them anymore.

Newly Banded Nervous For Thanksgiving!
Full liquids doesn't include any of the food you mentioned, unfortunately. Mashed potatoes, turkey, sweet potatoes... none are liquids. It's just one holiday. Enjoy the company, stick to your liquids, and know you're doing the best thing for your health. One dinner isn't worth hurting your healing stomach by jumping ahead on your post op diet, especially not only 5 days after surgery.

First Thanksgiving With My Band
I'm cooking a huge dinner for my family, and surprisingly, I'm not nervous at all. I've been banded for a bit over 10 months and I've learned I can eat whatever I want, just in moderation. I've had a birthday with a total junk meal and cake, I had candy on Halloween, and I'll enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas too. I'll just listen to my body and when I'm no longer hungry, I'll stop eating. Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Difference Between Pb & Being Stuck
Oh one more note, most people actually considering sliming it's own band-thing. So, you can be stuck, PB, and/or slime.
-
Difference Between Pb & Being Stuck
The simplest way to explain it is- stuck is uncomfortable but no food comes back up. PB is the result of being stuck and is when the food and/or slime is burped up.

Carb Cycling- An Experiment Gone Right!
Well, there's no set amount lol. We're all trying to find what works for each of us. Here is what I am doing: Low carb- -30-35g of carbs max, eaten early in the day if possible -I watch saturated fat, don't worry about fat overall. (you need fat in the absence of carbs) -I try to get at least 90g of protein High carb -Unlimited carbs, but I usually end up around 170-180g -Low fat, no more than 20% of my total calories -At least 60g of protein

Same Or Gaining?
You have to remember, fills don't make you lose weight. Burning more calories than you consume is what causes you to lose weight. How long has it been since you lost weight? Are you counting calories? Sticking to a cup or less of food per meal? Exercising?

7Mos. No Fill
If you can't go at least 4 hours on a cup of food without being hungry, then yes, you need a fill. I would demand it. To have a band without fills for adequate restriction is as useless is a balloon with no air in it. It defeats the whole purpose. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and make demands. Remember, you are the boss. The doctor is your employee. Demand the job to be done you're paying for.

Carb Cycling- An Experiment Gone Right!
I LOVE stuffing. I am actually cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it's my first time making the whole meal alone. BUT...my mom is still making and bringing her stuffing because it's my favorite. I'm also making a homemade apple pie and you better believe I'm having a piece of it too I have said from the day I had my surgery in January, I refuse to deprive myself. I had cake and a junk meal on my birthday, I had candy on Halloween, and now I'm going eat what I want on Thanksgiving. When Christmas comes, I'm going to have some Christmas cookies and a roast for dinner. I can have and enjoy it all- just in moderation.

What Ya Eating
Oh how exciting! Right now, I'm eating a salad with diced ham, shredded cheese, chic peas, and ranch dressing.

Carb Cycling- An Experiment Gone Right!
I've decided that I can't have Thanksgiving land on a low carb day, so I'm doing low carbs both today and tomorrow then high on Thanksgiving. (like...super high carb and cheating galore lol)

Let's Talk Turkey!
Definitely my mom's homemade stuffing. I'm actually cooking the holiday meal this year, but my mom is still cooking and bringing the stuffing because it's my favorite lol.

Uggg, Steroids For My Back Injury...
If you haven't eaten any differently, then the weight you're gaining is Water. Steroids make you bloat up and retain water something wicked. Drink LOTS and LOTS of water to help flush it out. Really watch your sodium intake and keep it low, too. Once you're done, it should be gone within about a week. Steroids are nasty, I know, I have a long history with them. Best wishes to you.

Is Cheese Bad?
If you're concerned, track your nutrients and see how many carbs, protein, and fats you're actually consuming in a day. You may think you're doing low carb but you'd be shocked how many foods have them in them and we don't realize it. Likewise, you may think you're doing high protein but are actually lacking. The only way you can know for sure is to start tracking, even if temporarily, to see what you're actually consuming.
