    Ok so this past week i have been good (still ate a few sugary things but oh well) and i counted carbs and worked out....FINALLY broke my three month stall...i weighed in at 193.0 on the button this morning. I have been pretty much 195.9 to 196.9 the past three months. I did see a day of 194.8. yay!!! I made sure i didn't go over 1200 but not below 1000 calories a day. Walked 45 minutes at lunch and a few times after work and then some days i walked at the track near my house then ran up and down the stairs on the bleachers (that's an awesome workout). Now just need to add in some weigh training and i think ill be good. My surgeon had to push my 1 year appt back from 9/9 to 9/23 so that gives me a few extra weeks to get closer to 100lb mark. That was my original goal at my one year surgiversary but that only gives me 2.5 lbs to lose 13 lbs..so ill shoot for that with my surgeon. I hope everyone is doing great. I find that going back to basics just throws me all off. Since this is a life long journey you need to find out what works for you in a normal capacity. Just sometimes finding it might take awhile (three months for me).
  2. I only took the Biotin the first 6 months to help with my hair re-growth...but i dont take it anymore since i can get all my nutrition from food. Any Vitamin that you take that your body does not need you will just have it flushed out in your urine etc.. As for B-12 i dont think you need to take the supplement if you're also getting the shot. Could you call your surgeons office to see if you can just have them answer you??

    Ok so i have a weird question...from losing weight you end up with jiggly skin. My stomach is where i had most of my weight but i cant tell how much fat i have left to lose or if some of it can be removed if i get plastic surgery etc. Im sick of the loose skin but it doesnt hang down a ton so im dealing but when i lay down i have almost a flat stomach and i def feel my ribs. In that case how do i know how much is skina and how much is fat lol i havent lost anything in about three months and im counting cals and started working out. My goal is 165 and i feel like ten lbs of me is my tummy lol I guess id have to make a consult to find out but i wanted to be closer at like 175 before i sought that out. Now im working on getting into law school so id need to do any sort of plastics next summer the latest. I am also a 12 or 14 in bottoms it depends how my stomach area fits into pants..dresses u can hide. I hope im not the only one dealing with this haha

    As for the carb thing my NUT told me that 100g carbs a day is actually low carb diet to begin with and to stay close to that because our bodies use carbs to function. I dont count carbs or protein just make sure i eat protein of some form at every meal

    I hear ya..i havent lost any weight in three months and fluctuate between 194 and 196...i have thirty more pounds to go. Ive come to the conclusion i need to count calories so i started yesterday and so far so good. Oh that and i tried to give blood and i was apparently dehydrated ...i also am upping my water a ton which i hope will replace any snacking...

    So i have been stuck at 196.5 for like a month and a half and i have been pretty much eating what i want etc. I think i am at the point where i wont lose anymore weight without actually dieting and exercising. Blah lol As for the basics i was never told about how many times i had to chew my food or stop at 6 to 8 bites. I do follow the drinking during meals (although i do drink during snakes) and i don't always wait 30 min before and after. I can eat ALOTTTT more than i could initially which is fine with me and i know i wont stretch my stomach out but i need to start exercising...thats my problem. I honestly haven't at all..maybe a few times i just cant get into the swing of it. I have lost 65lbs since surgery and 85 overall and i know i could easily be at goal or closer by now if i had been working out during all of this. I don't feel like a failure but i feel myself getting comfy with how i am now and i want to be closer to 170 and not hovering right under 200 lol Hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far!

    I still have 30 some odd lbs till goal..id prob be there if i worked out but i dont..i have all the dvds..gym membership...wii fitness stuff including zumba...i just for the life of me cannot learn to enjoy it. I would like to start running so thats my plan its a good way to tone and im shed enough whee my knees should be good. Ill start the couch to 5k..maybe one day ill get to run a 5k..or 10k...hmmm. id just be happy being at 100 lbs lost at my year..so i have three months to lose 15 lbs.

    I did horrible this weekend and i didnt care but i found myself going back to where i was a year ago...i dont want to do that again!!! Sooo i went and got stuff to start back tomorrow super strict and back at the gym..im hoping being super strict for a few weeks will give me the kick i needed and lose some weight haha I also need to do some serious toning..i also think a boob job might b in my future i cant stand how they look :-(

    Thats crazy Green. congrats! I am still 35 away from my ultimate goal but only 20 from my happy medium goal lol So i have a confession..i enjoy shopping wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much now!! I went to the outlets near my parents house this sunday and must have spent 300 just at one store. Granted i literally had no clothes for summer for work (i am a paralegal so i have to dress up). I had never been in this store called The Loft...i totally love it. They have some super cute dresses etc. I fit into a 12P...petite...and im not petite lol It was on clearance so i thought id give it a try since i tend to fit into 12's and some 14's depending upon the style. Im trying not to go clothes crazy because i know the smaller you are the less you have to lose to go down a size but with dresses i figure i can wear them for a few sizes (as long as they arent fitted) so thats all i wear to work. I also bought a few pairs of heels and its crazy not to have my feet killing at the end of the day. so now onto the dreaded bathingsuit....dun dun dunnnnnnnn...i know you have all been there with me. I ended up with a LARGE (woohoo no more plus sized tent bathingsuits for me) TANKINI...not super excited how my thighs look but ill take it. Only issue is my boobs have totally deflated and i feel like an a cup in my bathingsuit lol Oh well ill take it for now as ill probably end up getting them fixed in a year or so (or maybe not) as i am still young they arent like tube socks just lost all of the fullness Hope everyone is having a great start to the "summer" and stop by once in awhile i noticed people arent as much anymore. Boo!
  14. At first your stomach is swollen and i know the first two weeks i was on liquid and yogurt, cottage cheese etc. I wasnt allowed to add in chicken and tuna until week 3 or 4. Your stomach is swollen for the first couple months and it does get better but you shouldnt be feeling the way you feel so far out. I would ask to see your Dr just to rule anything out (not to freak you out) but better safe then sorry. I am sorry you are going through this but hopefully you can at least get some protein shakes down to help you out so you dont get dehydrated and malnurished..Keep us posted.

    So I am back from vacation and i didnt gain any weight!! I lost 3 lbs which put me at 199.1 this morning and its so cool to be in ONEDERLAND!!! I tend to fluctuate a pound or so throughout the week but i was happy this morning so if i see 200 i will deal since i know i am so close anyways no reason to get upset over it lol I still have about 40 lbs to go till my personal goal but i think i would be happy at 175 so ill say 25 for a happy goal and 40 for ultimate goal. :wub:

    I just want to be under 200..ive been floating at 201 for a week or so. I leave saturday for japan so im hoping i lose weight and come back in onederland..that will make the trip even better. 100 lbs for me would put me at 20 from my goal..im just about at 80 now..cant imagine another 20 lol I wont be around until after two weeks from now i hope to see more great results
  18. I am almost 8 months and i can eat a ton more than i could before but i am still losing weight. I eat about 1100 to 1400 calories a day and i am completely fine with that. Keep up the great work!
