Em, are you getting enough Protein? I am in Pre op hell to as I'm sleeved om the 17th but I'm not feeling hungry. I can only attribute this to getting in 70 grams of Protein a day. I'm sorry you are miserable and hope this helps some. I just keep counting Dow just 1 day at a time and it will be worth it. Good luck!

HuHot is one of my favorite places to eat AND if you do it right it can be healthy. That being said I'd you go for dinner I don't want to pay $13 for a cup of food and not have leftovers. I asked the manager of the one in The town I live in if with the card from my surgeon could I order from the child's menu. His answer was no and no leftovers can be taken home. I was told I had the option of getting Togo which is 2 bowls of food cooked and put in a Togo container but cannot be eaten there. I don't mind the togo option but I think my days of dining there are done.

I am being sleeved by Dr. Smolik on January 17 th. everyone at the Mercy Weightloss Center has been wonderful and I am thrilled with my choice

I keep thinking its no different than my annual exam.

A very close friend passed away today so the three remaining went out tonight. I have had 3 drinks, but I am 11 days from surgery. I'm lost and want to take care of myself but keep thinking what's the point. I regret drinking and won't continue to, but I feel horrible for doing it and horrible for thinking about me instead of her.

I am approved but i have three comorbidities and I have a BMI much higher than 35. What I do know is they are one of the few that approve the sleeve

I am going to make pepperoni chips with turkey pepperoni. Put pepperoni in a single layer on a cookie sheet bake at 425 for 8 minutes then drain on a paper towel. These are what I plan to use with hummus... Yummmm

I'm taking as long as I can simply because I work in a call center where I can't leave my desk whenever i may need to and am only allowed a certain amount of time off the phone aside from my 30 minute lunch and 1 15 minute break. (they even monitor the time you use in the restroom) With that being said I am going back early if I Have no problems.

How much have you all lost so far?
1 thing to keep in mind my starting weight is 342 and I'm cut down to 1000 calories

Im on day 2 of my Pre op diet and ended up in a position where I was out with none of my liquid meals. We ended up at Panera as I wasn't driving. I tried to make the best choice and got the low fat vegetarian black bean Soup. I didn't eat all of it and I still have 12 days till surgery. How bad did I screw up? I see my surgery nurse on Friday and will fess up but right now I feel horrible.

I am very happy to find this discussion. I can't function without good carbs but was feeling bad because another group I belong to was all about putting yourself in ketosis. I don't like that idea but I haven't been sleeved yet either... 1/17/12 is my date. What I really need to focus on is what works for me and not worry about what others do, but then I started to fear I wouldnt lose.

You could ask her if you could try upping the Protein and see if that works. This is hard enough without feeling starved
