  1. I had a tentative date for surgery originally June 13, however my insurance company due to 'clerical' errors sent a letter of denial for my surgery. Its straightened out and I am scheduled for surgery on July 25th. I want to thank you all for always commenting on my posts, all the wonderful emails. Especially to Mis73, she has been my main backbone of support on here and without her I would have probably fell to pieces throughout this entire process. Thanks Missy, you are truly a blessing! I have everything ready for my surgery, (I am litterally stocked)! I will continue to read on, comment, etc on this site because I need the support and hope I can return the support and love back. Okay, hello to all my July Bandsters!!!! -Patty
  2. I knew someone who had major surgery (full tummy tuck & breast lift) her surgeon recommended Bio-oil and she swore by it. It cost about $11 on Walmart.com. Now, when I had my hip replaced I have about a 6 inch scar and I swore by Perlier Almond milk lotion. That ran me about $25. I think like the other poster said is to keep yourself moisturized, hydrated and smoothing it out would work. Good luck. PS: Here is the link to walmart with the oil: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Nailene-W-Purcellin-Oil-Bio-Oil-2-fl-oz/10317326?ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=10317326&sourceid=1500000000000007346330&veh=cse

  6. Has anyone tried these? They look easy to digest than chugging an entire glass full of chalky Protein shakes. Packed with 50 grams of protein per shot (3.2 ounces). I soooo want to try these... click on the link here: http://www.amazon.com/Pure-Protein-Supreme-Fruit-Punch/dp/B004T8U6NA

  9. Hi Everyone, I have told you about the Protein Blitz Protein drinks that are non chalky and clear. I have got my order in last night and today I tried it. I have to say this is by far the best tasting Protein Drink I had since purchasing sooooo many (chalky ones) that I have a hard time getting them down with the after taste and leaving my stomache feeling horrible. Its been over 4 hours since I drank Protein Blitz (grape flavored) and I feel good. If I have to describe what it taste like, I would say a grape flavored sugar free ice pop!. Okay, cost- for a dozen 20 ounce bottles if you go to the Vitamin Shoppe website they charge $32.00 for the case (free shipping). If you go to the Protein Blitz website you are going to pay a hevty $47.88 a case. So worth it buying these if you can't get down those chalky Protein shakes. Tast great over ice, and someone suggested they make ice pops out of these. Packed with 30 grams of protein each bottle!!! I am going to order more they come in fruit punch and grape flavors. I took a few pics so you can see how clear the drink is (I served this over ice) Enjoy ... Product Label New from the Makers of Designer whey 30g of Protein 1g Carbs 0g Fat Protein Enhanced Beverage Grip it Good&Grape™ 7.8g BCAAs Lactose Free 100% Unique - US Patent Pending - America's #1 Protein

  20. What an accomplishment! whoohooooooo!
  21. Check your movie theaters. Our movie theater chairs have the arms that extend up. Perfect for keeping the kids all together and of course snuggling with that significant other. Well not to mention the comfort. Now, I can't fit into the broadway shows seats because of how small they are. OMG, they are teeeeny weeny. I smashed myself in one years back and the arms dug into my poor aching hips. I haven't gone and missed it so bad. I am really looking forward to losing weight so I can get back to NY and see all the broadway shows.
  22. Swimming is a great idea! who doesn't love the water and you get to use every single muscle moving around water. You don't have to swim laps, just move move move in the water. I walk in the water back in forth in a 25 yard swimming length pool for a half hour non stop. I don't force myself hard to do this, just walk and keep moving. I also use their boards and keep it in front of me with my arms stretched out and flap my feet to one length of the pool. Water areobics are great and you may find your town offers that, if not get yourself into a local swimming pool. Low impact and the water always feels great!
