Hi Jennifer you cutie Pie! You should be super proud of the weight you have already lost, so soon after surgery. There have been some who gain during this time, not to make light of things. I am sure its frustrating, but keep in mind your body is still in the healing process. Your body still has to adapt. You will find yourself hitting plateaus, and you need to prepare for these things. Please Please don't compare yourself to others.... Hang in there!- Chicken Muffins

I think for me and maybe I can vouch for most, I was just simply 'tired'. Tired of the highs and lows, the ups and downs. The feeling of 'tired', the feeling of being smothered/sufficated in my own body. You have to want it bad enough, bad enough to say "I had enough"!- Hello ONEDERLAND!!!!!
Irene, I know I could slap myself for saying that! I know it sounds crazy, I just haven't been under 250 in over 30 years. Its so in my reach now, but still I can't imagine, or try to imagine, you know what I am saying? The lowest I have got after I gave birth to my daughter is 259, after battling/yo-yo ing forever! Hi Misty, There are so many factors why our weight stalls, gain, etc, when we are following the rules to weight loss. Ask yourself do you track all of your foods daily? Getting in all your Protein? What about your sodium intake? Taking any new/recent medications? What about your caloric intake daily? Menstruation? Do you know how many grams of carbs/sugar you are eating/drinking a day? Everything I wrote above is how I have learned from "personal' experience what I was doing or needed to adjust. We all don't lose the same, what works for one does not work for the other. I find investigating what you are eating/drinking daily by tracking is key, from there you can learn to adjust your nutrients that fits into your lifestyle that works for YOU. Best of luck,- Before and after
Terry, look at you down -40lbs already!! whooohoooooooo!- Before and after
