I havent been on here in awhile,last time i was i still havent went to the seminar, as of Feb 9th i went to the seminar..it was very helpful... and then on Feb 13th (My 21st Birthday) I got a call from the Hospital by first appt is the 23rd.so fast!! im so excited. ill meet witht the nurse,do paperwork,meet with dietican and physical therpist!!! How did your first Appt go???

I have no clue what my insurance company requires yet...also the good thing is my friend is getting the lapband too so shes going with me to the seminar im lucky to have a friend thats at the same point i am and that we can support each other!

yea i turned my application in for the doctor. ive done a lot of research myself...i dont think im changing my mind lol..i need this

Im Not banded yet but was wondering how long did it take you from the time you decided you were getting the lapband to the time of the surgury?!?! Im anxious to know...

SO i know i havent been banded yet...Ive been sick with a Viral Illness called BPV..which sucks and its getting to the point that ive lost my appetite and when i do eat i feel quilty and then my stomach doesnt agree with it. I dont know if im feeling this way cause im scared what the suergon will think or me gaining more weight...its soo irritating...what do u guys think should i feel this way another part of me says eat what i can know cause i wont be able to when i am banded! :/

Today I got my packet in the mail from the hospital! Didnt realize how much info they need to know before consultation, Im actually afraid that they will decline. but im thinking positive, I gotta get a PT test done... about 30mins.. They also said the whole evaluation can take 3-6months which is shorter than i thought but to get in can be 2months lol...Well hoping the best for me!!!

Im pretty new at this whole thing also. I just went to my primary yesturday and gave me a referral to a surgeon. Just waiting on the paperwork from them and then get a appt. I already pretty much have some of my tests done so hopefully that helps and he said it shouldnt be no problem with the insurance co approving!!!! im so excited and excited to meet the newbies that are going through the exact stage im at now too

So i went to the doctors this morning and he gave me a referal to a doctor, im so excited. he told me that its the insurance co that determines weather the lapband or gastric is better fo you, do any of you go through that? so now i wait for the paper work to b filled and on top of all that i walked out with a referral for hand surgury...great lol

Im Pretty new at this whole thing. I wanna know what to expect through the entire way to finally get that surgery date. I go the 30th of this month my my physican to get a referral since hes the one that mentioned i get it done, Im really excited and want it done now but i know thats mot possable,so i thought id ask....
