Actially it has stopped since yesterday when I started full liquids! I think I just needed a couple days of protein!

I actually googled this and found that it was called Pulsatile Tinnitus. I am just so tired all the time. I was never like this after my sleeve!

Ever since post op I have have this swooshing soud/effect in my ears that coincides with my heartbeat and puse. My blood presure is fine but sometimes I feel like I am racing! It is driving me crazy!!

Good for you! That's the way to do it. I started my full liquids this morning and made 1oz of cream of wheat which was absolutely huge! I just picked at it and went very slow and didn't even make a dent in it. Just scared to go,overboard right now!

Thanks I did find it on my phone and ipad where you said but won't let me change unless I go prmium! I think I will just delete it and go a different route!

Because my acid was out of control and the only way it could be stopped was to do RNY. After a sleeve (5 1/2 years ago) , you still have acid, but not so with an RNY. As it was, when the doctor got in there, I had so much thinning of scar tissue from the VSG that the acid basically iniulated it, and it was ready to rupture. So my doctor had to fix it before e could do the RNY. So if you have bad acid, I would go RNY over VSG, because it seems that a lot of people are converting.

I had VSG to RNY 6 days ago. Never had any pain or gas. Had a lot of shoulder gas pain when I had VSG 5 1/2 years ago. I am just tired when I go up the stairs and feels like my heart is racing!

I have had bowel movements since Tuesday night (surgery was Monday). In fact it was a doozy! Ever since then I have had at least three a day. So glad I am not constipated!

Thanks so much! My pureed stage is combined with my soft food stage, but I love the idea pre measuring these out for the week.

What I meant to say was I just had RNY from a VSG 5 1/2 years ago. Are you going to do 2 oz of the protein with 2 oz of the veggies for each meal or what?

Do you have a dietician at your doctor? It takes 12 weeks for either your staple line or stitches to heal and bread is normally not allowed until then because it swells and can get into your stitch line. Even some meats are not allowed until 12 weeks. Your pouch cannot handle a lot of dense food yet until it is healed. IMO you need to cut back to more soft foods and see if that helps. Good luck!

Wow that's great that it has stopped! That stuck and slimes stuff is not pleasant!

To me, this sounds more like either eating too quickly or too big of bites if you are getting stuck and the slimes. I don't understand why acid woud cause the slimes, but I am certainly not a doctor. Hope it gets better!

I had RNY on the 12th. I am happy to say I have not had any gas whatsoever as I did with VSG. But I did use the Gas X cherry creme chewables then and they definitely worked nd were safe.

I have heard that they should not be used until at least six months out because the protein cannot be absorbed as it should.

Of course you shiuld be able to have them!

My doctor told me no protein drinks until 4 days post op.
