NO problem here with the VG band only been banded since May 2007 but like someone else said its hard to find the sweet spot, I have 6cc now and probbaly need another fill in August. If i was u I would go for it. GOOD LUCK!!

WELL I have been reading you girls threads on bikes for the last two days and you all have convinced me to take up this biking craze. I just ordered a new bike have no idea about road bikes but ordered a Motobecane Vent Noir what ever that is. Caffeine dont hurt the band does it? It just stimulates your appetite I know carbonation is suppoose to damage or eat away at the band over a period of time. Anyone else want to comment on his I would appreicate it.

Sounds like everybody here has their own workout routine and it seems to be working for each of you. For me the hardest part for me to workout is the first STEP OUT THE DOOR AFTER THAT EVERYTHING IS EASY. I can so talk myself out of working out sometimes then I get this guilty feeling and out the door I go and once out there its nothing to it and after a shower I feel wonderful and glad I went. good luck to you all also!!!!!

you got that right Majorie, but it hard to stop when it taste so good, but after a coupe of times of that mserable feeling you will stop I found out the hard way did not puke but man I was feeling awful for about thirty minutes or so. <p>Hello, I was banded May 2, 2007 and have had two fills first one 4cc and the second one was Tuesday and I think it is the SWEET SPOT account I cannot eat more than few ounce of food and I am full. I have never experienced the full feeling since I was banded but I have now and when you first feel that feeling do not take another bite or your miserable for a bit. At first I thought I was stuck because I did not know what the full feeling was but after a couple of days I finally figured out that was the sign of being full although my head said keep on eating. ANYONE ELSE DESCRIBE THAT FEELING OF BEING FULL ITs WEIRD. you think you have something stuck but you don't. I have a total of 6cc in 10cc VG band.</p>

I am in the same boat as you Only I was banded may 2, 2007 and have got a total of 6cc in my vg band and this last fill was Tuesday of this week and I can really fell the restriction I can eat only a few ounce of meat and a small vegetable and one more bite puts me in misery for around thrity minutes whow what a diffence two cc make. At first I thougth I mght be too tight but I can eat solids but not much of it. My question is will this losen up as time goes by. My first fill I never had to eat slow or drink slow but thats not even true now. You would think I would have learned that after the first epsiode of slimming but I am from MISSOURI SHOW ME, TELL ME, ONE MORE TIME. GOOD LUCK TO EVEYONE HERE!!!

yeah really I was not expecting a fill was banded may 2, 2007 and got 4cc on May 22,2007 in a vg band I guess it holds 12cc. But went on solid foods no liquids felt a little restriction but as the week went by just had to slowdown eating a little but now everything is going down good maybe to good but gulping water is out, it hurts a little, have to go back in thirty days for another fill, guess trying to find that sweet spot good luck tamj!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You All For Replying On The BEER, Coffee, And Carbonations Drinks I Will Stay Awayb From Them And Have Not Any Soda For Over A Month Miss At Times When I See Someone With A Big Glass Of Ice And Soda Or A Cup Of Coffee In The Early Am Especially At Work. I Work As An Locootive Engineer And The Conductor Pours A Big Ole Cup Of Java At 0200 Just To Stay Awake The Smell Really Bother Me As I Sip On A Bottle Of Water.

I have a question for some of you educated banders. Why no soda pops? Why no coffee or carbonated drinks is what my doctor told me but never said why. May 2, 2007 banded witha vg band, may 22,2007 doctor put on 4cc I thought that was a bit aggressive but dont know, can anyone else respond to this. I thought it would be six weeks before a fill and a 1cc or two but not 4 the first time. I had to drink a cup of water in the doctor office nad I gulped wrong, wrong wrong, thing to do i felt what people have been telling me about siping and eating slow and I know what a horrible feeling it was it took about an half hour or so for it to pass. thanks in davanced for your reply.

I slept for fifty years without a cpap and now I go no where without it, yes I fault the machine for several months at home and woulld keep it on a few hours and then throw it off sometime in the middle of the night but eventually it started staying on all night and now, always sleep with it always. but hopefully i will lose it after being banded may 2, and this weight problem goes away hopefully it will too and maybe it wont.

congratulations chris mine was 8 days ago, the gas will leave no longer than 48 hours or so mine did. Hang in there the worst is over and the journey begins now!
