Is it just me or has anyone else been experiencing problems with coming on to the website?

My appointment was not until tomorrow but I went in with a friend whom I referred. I was asked well since you are here today do you want to weigh? I said sure. I got on the scale and was down 8 more lbs. That brings my total weight loss thus far to 35lbs. Thank God for my sleeve! :xena_banana:

I'm 2 months out and I eat salads. As a matter of fact I had a salad at the Olive Garden's today and some minestrone soup, only a small amount but I still had it with no problems.

I'm almost two months out and I'm sure I can eat like that now. You are doing good. Keep up the good work.

My surgery went great. The most pain I had was a sore throat from the ng tube. I healed nicely and I'm doing good. The best decision I made. You will be fine. I wish you the best.

My doctor did not give me a leak test either or so I thought. So on my appointment day I asked him why didn't he give me a leak test like everyone else was talking about. He replied he did give me a leak test in the operating room while I was asleep. lol so my mystery was solved. It's so funny how the doctors all do things so different.

Again congrats and the next time I'm over that way I should look you up and we should do lunch. I drove there last year for 2 weeks straight to go to Dan Tadeo's school of RE for my broker's course and I love the Olive Gardens there. BTW who is DH? is that Dumb Husband? lol

Hang in there Juli. It will get better. I've been on a binge since Christmas and I'm wondering if I've done myself any damage. I filled my sleeve 3 days in a row. The good thing is it stopped me before I could eat way too much. I think we all felt that way at one time or another. You're right, once the weight starts falling off, you will feel much better.

Try drinking some g2 gatorade it helps with the dehydration.

I'm always amazed when I see these posts about tastes because for me, I have never lost my taste. As a matter of fact, everything tastes better. Hang in there I'm sure this will get better in time.

Yes my throat was verry sore and I had trouble swallowing for about 5 days because I woke up with a ng tube. I had to keep the tube in for 2 days. I hated it. I'm fine now and you will be too.

Wow! Everyone is doing great and MikeC 89 lbs is awesome. Keep up the good work everyone and I will try to keep you all updated as I progress and it will be nice if everyone could give an update and encourage one another on this journey since we all started around the same time. I totally understand how you feel. I got sleeved the week before Thanksgiving and of course mama through down of the meal. I was dreaming about her dressing. I sat there and watched everyone eat. I was so sad. My 1st week out I was having pains that I thought was hunger pains and it was actually gas.I started to regret my decision but that only lasted 10 minutes. After starting ppi I don't have gas anymore. I'm down 30 lbs and I don't miss food now that I'm losing. I think a lot of us go through this phase. Hang in there it gets better.

After my surgery I spent 4 nights in the hospital and on days 1,2 and 3 I was not able to burp. They gave me mom and on the 4th day I was burping from both ends.

I'm taking centrum chewables which you can get at walmart and vitafusion calciums which I look forward to taking because they are sooo good.

G2 Gatorade is good to drink to prevent dehydration.
