Hey guys!  My name is Jamie and I am 30 years old.  I am married to Brian, who is in the Air Force, and we have four beautiful daughters- Kayla 11, Isabelle 7, Madilyn 2, and Zoe 1.  Weight has always been an issue for me.  The first thing that I can remember is not eating because I thought I was fat....I think I was in third or fourth grade.  My weight went up and down for years.  I was at my best weight my junior and senior years of high school, I played softball seven days a week.  Shortly after high school I got pregnant with my first daughter....It was all downhill from there with my weight.  I have tried any and every diet that you can think of, the healthy and the unhealthy.  There have been a few things that have happened that have made me make the decision to go ahead with the lap band surgery.  My 11 year old is starting to go through what I did when I was her age.  I want to bite that in the butt while I still can, and hopefully she will not have to deal with things like I did.  The other thing is a picture that I saw.  It was of me with my aunts, cousins, and daughers.....I was as big as two of them put together.  I knew at that point that I wanted to stop killing myself.  Food has always been a go to for me....I am an emotional eater.  I just started my pre op diet....all liquid....it sucks.  I know that the hardest part of this for me is also going to be the most benificial.....I need to learn how to eat right, and when to stop.  My surgery is set for the 13th of December, and I cant wait to embark on my journey!!!
