  1. There have been similar posts where people reported getting nauseous with taking flintstone's vitamins.
  2. Enjoy these moments, soon those pants will be falling off you! LOL Good job and I'm so proud of you.
  3. I can see you soaring through the skies! Yep, so attentive and enjoying life now......
  4. Hey you guys, you are doing great. Are you guys taking a PPI (nexium, omeprazole, tagamet). If your not you could be having some acid in your stomaches that mimick hunger. Are you getting all your water in. Because if not it could be thrist, so I would try drinking some water when feeling hunger between meals. It is best to call your surgeon's office first and get their approval. IMO I am not a medical doctor.....
  5. Have a good sleep and wake up on your new journey! CONGRATS! Can't wait for you to join us on the BIG LOSER'S BENCH! Let us know how you do......
  6. This has been such a fabulous journey for us..... We are learning so much about ourselves and making so many wonderful changes! Cheers to a new journey!
  7. Cramps? Time to push that morphine button........No sense in suffering......
  8. Can't wait for you to get the the Century club! It will happen and really soon! Keep it up!
  9. I love these election results! Congrats on your weight loss. However, if I were you, I'd really add those 10 extra lbs on because they do count. You have lost at least 120 ls! Keep it up!
  10. Crystalite: 15 lbs is quite a significant gain, especially after being sleeved. Have you called your surgeon's office? Please call them and let us know what's going on. That's not right. I could see maybe 5 lbs, but not 15.
  11. You are going to have such a peaceful sleep, and when you wake up, it's done! Congrats and can't wait for you to take your seat on the BIG LOSE'S BENCH next to us........ Cheers to a new life style!
  12. So sad about your loss.......HUGS!!!!! That cornbread must have been what you needed........ Good stopping when traveling. My surgeon and PCP tells us every hour.....
  13. Before my surgery I had the same struggle. I went about it a little differently though, I allowed myself to have what I wanted, but I only ate 1/2 of it. If in a restaurant, I only ate about 1/4th of the dish. Then I just started eating off the side menu, ex...1egg and fruit with 1 slice of toast. It helped with loosing weight.
  14. Sweet! Keep it up! CONGRATS!
  15. You look so sexy! Look at those curves! So beautiful! CONGRATS!
  16. People that ask to see your license do not even look at the pics. They are looking for name and address to match. So disillusioning. I would dread going to the DMV to get a new license. Such a hassle. You look awesome and you know. So keep it up.
  17. The way I see it is, you are so lucky to be alive right now.....It's very difficult to make good food choices when you can't cook or keep perishables in the refrigerator. Eating out isn't so bad if you can be picky and choosey. I take pizza and eat the topping off of it and discard the majority of the dough. If you can get cheese at a store, then that's also a good choice. You have done so far and the electric should come back on really soon. Then you get back to the healthy eating. Hang in there and God be with you all.....
  18. I am so thinking on having a face lift. I have Jowls! Yep, I can't stand the jowls either...... LOL
  19. I am so sad that your having such a rough time. The only suggestion I would have to help get the medicine down is to try putting it in some pudding or yogurt if possible. It might not taste so bad. Keep sipping water as much as possible to stay hydrated.
  20. Isn't it amazing how good it feels so soon out! Congrats! Now pull up those pants.....LOL
  21. I make sure I drink 1 medicine cup full every 15 minutes. Then I just switched to taking a sip all the time.
  22. You have made a good choice to come here for support. Congrats on being 2 years post op..... How can we help you? I'm 1 year post op and finding that I can go off track really easy. I can eat more now and that scares me. I find myself grazing a lot and am working on changing that. I am just going to eat 3 meals a day, no snacking 1 hour before meals, also fix my own meals. What really helps me here is that I have some cute dessert plates and bowls that hold very small amounts. That helps me not take too much and then I feel content. I find that I'm always thinking about food and what I'm doing is asking myself, "Am I Hungry?" and if my answer is no, I work on not eating it. I really don't need it anyways. So How can we help you?
  23. That has been my struggle also. So frustrating! It will come off and then go back up, just keep working it.....
  24. It's anxiety, try not to focus on it, and just do it!
