  9. SoontoBminimommy: Just read your post and hear the frustration about stalling. I had a long stall and thought I would not be losing any more weight, I knew it was irrational but felt fear that I was done losing. You have read about the explanations and it doesn't take the sting away from it. I am looking at it differently now, I want my body to take a breather so that it can adjust and heal itself. I also am staying away from the scale LOL. Hang in here and do what you've been doing and enjoy today, you are Rockin that Sleeve and it will happen.
  10. I tell everyone. I'm proud of my decision to have this procedure and am very grateful. Everyone who I have shared this with have been very supportive. One of my best friend's was scared and till this day, she still doesn't understand, But that's ok, she can research the procedure for information. I like to be up front because when they see a significant weight loss, they're going to ask questions anyways. Then the conflict comes when they feel like I didn't trust them. So, I had decided, I wasn't going to worry about it, I'd just tell them. No problems so far. Totally happy with being open with others.
  11. Mushies too me were like soups, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, yogurt, sf pudding. I actually skipped the pureed stage bc the thought made me want to throw up. Sorry TMI.
  12. Have you taken any measurements? This is a time where your body is catching up with the lbs loss. I have been loosing slowly since Xmas, but boy has my body gone done in inches. If you haven't taken any measurements before now, now would be a good time to take some for baseline. Then measure yourself later. I think it's a great idea to get more Protein in and to increase your exercise routine. That's being proactive and will get your further. CONGRATS on your successes! Keep Rockin that Sleeve!
  13. Sounds like a big event that is alot of fun! Except for the fried devil's food! LOL
  14. You are so right about our muffin top tummy. I also don't like mine. But I realize that I will most likely have to do some plastics. But, even if I decide not too, I still look a hell of a lot better than I did pre op. I can wear spanx's until I can have plastics LOL. But I will not wear a bathing suit and probably not be wearing any shorts due to excess skin. But over all, I am going to look at my body without critical eyes and practice being thankful for what I do have and that's more energy and a healthier body. But believe me, I have moments too where everything hits me like a double wammy. I read something you posted earlier and it gave me a very warm feeling! You are an awesome person and loving and caring. Keep Rockin your Sleeve!
