  1. Be careful, if you don't put nurishment in your body, you will end up in the hospital with malnutrition. No need to feel guilty here. Eat protein, and get all your fluids in if you can. Or work towards getting fluids in. Your doing fine.
  2. Too many preservatives for this body. LOL Too much sugar also.
  3. Time for a reboot! Get back to basics. Look of LilMissDiva's Basic Bootcamp under food and nutrition. It will help you refocus to healthier eating to get the sugar out of your system. You are having a lot of head hunger that your fighting. Can you see a College Therapist? He/she could help you challenge your head hunger and give you postive coping skills so you can recognize and stop giving into the head hunger. The last 20 lbs will be the hardest to loose so it would benefit you to seek out a Therapist.
  4. CONGRATS! This is so exciting. The tenative date is great to have. Just remember to take it one day at a time. Things will get done and you will be on your way to skinnyville! Yep, that's right, Skinnyville will be your next stop! lol This is the best thng I've ever done for myself and I love Skinnyville! Health is my main focus from here on out. I love that my diabetes is gone and my chloresterol is in the normal zone. I have so much energy too! Yes, you can do this and be successful. Welcome!
  5. BTW, 2 of my cats have a heart murmur. They are doing exceptional. I knew one had a murmur bc the breeder got it back from someone who purchased him and returned him back as defective. He is the best CAT I've ever had. He's an Ocicat. Hang in there.
  6. CONGRATS~ you are officially sitting on the BIG LOSER'S BENCH with us!.
  7. So thankful that everything good! No heartmurmur! Terrific! I like your blood panel, it's exceptional. How does it feel to be at goal? Was it the doc's goals are was it your own goals? You have really Rocked your Sleeve! and it's not stopping here.
  8. GT: Did you eat the whole donut?
  9. Yayyyyyyyyyyyy! Enjoy the lbs melting like butter in a hot skillet!
  10. I'm always finding my old sizes on the sales racks now! I have to remind myself that it won't fit me. LOL I love this. My sleeve is fabulous! I love my sleeve!
  11. You will do great at 1100 calories and hitting the gym.
  12. I use a personal trainer to help me with strengthening my core so that when I do use the weight equipment, I am less likely to hurt myself. I see him l time per week and he gives me a set of exercises to do. I like what mnb sleeve saids about mixing it up. It keeps it exciting and helps with meeting with friends. Wish you luck! Start exercise with a little at a time.
  13. Sleeve of Steel: I forgot to mention that I stay away from most processed foods due to all the junk. I eat low fat cheeses and yogurt. I do use butter instead of margarine. I also eat organic to avoid pesticides. I like how you eat .
  14. Yes, you will be able to eat more. Alot of people are able to eat 1200 to 1500 calories with no problem. I myself am at 5 months out and get in less than 900 calories. I'm ok with this, because I'm a little fearful of gaining the weight back. I know it's an irrational thought, but I still have the thoughts. I need to work on these thoughts. LOL CONGRATS! Keep ROCKIN that SLEEVE!
  15. Guess what? You need to donate those beautiful large cloths to someone else because you will never fit them again! I had the same dilemma. Didn't want to get rid of my old cloths and didn't know why. Subconsciously I am fearful I will gain the weight back. That is my fear talking. So yesturday, my son and I took them to the Goodwill and donated them. Now I have so much space in my closet and also in the garage where I had large trash bags full of clothes. It is a good feeling. I am never going to gain the weight back because I am choosing to eat healthy and to increase my exercise when possible. From past posts of yours, I picked up a wonderful since of being you (happy, excited, enjoying attention). There's no going back, it's forward on from here and you will blossom like a beautiful red rose. CONGRATS on your success!
  16. Wowwwwwww! 81 lbs in 3 months! this is great....... CONGRATS! Keep up the good feelings and know that they're real! Hugs XOXOXOXO
  17. Kathy: it is amazing that you are doing as well as you are right now considering all the stress your in. Just try and make the healthiest choices that you can. If you go to a restarant, order some Soup, cottage cheese, or anything that is high Protein. Give your self some slack, and work towards getting your environment back to a normal status quo. You have lost 50 lbs and that's great! Let's give yourself some KUDO's for the hard work you've done so far. Hugs XOXOXOX
  18. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Love that your enjoying where you are and not stressing over a stupid stall! CONGRATS! That's an additional NSV!
  19. I don't really worry about the fat gms yet. I try to keep everything in the low fat range..
  20. I'm glad to hear your doing really good right now. They really gave you alot of narcotics after your plastics. Hope you will share some pics soon. Love to see the new you. I was also wondering how much the skin weighs alone and you lost 10 lbs. That's fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing.
  21. Actually, today I went out with my family and I ordered a Burnin Love cheeseburger. I ate 1/4 of it and picked the bread off out of habit. I don't really care for bread, Pasta, or rice anymore due to the space it takes up. I found out that the burger was really hot and bothered my stomach. Glad to be done. For dinner, I'm having a premier Protein shake. I am totally amazed with the low calories I eat. But very happy. I think uneating our sleeve is the way to go. Congrats to everyone!
  22. It would be a good ideal to call your surgeon's office and describe you swelling to the doc or PA. Yes, our stomachs are swollen right after surgery due to having 85% removed. They stapled and cut and sewen over the stapleline. But I never could visually see the stomach being swollen. I felt it when eating and drinking. CONGRATS! Welcome the the BIG LOSER'S CLUB!
  23. Pre op i didn't see myself as really heavy at 223 lbs, after all I had just made the BMI cut off. But when my friend told me that my butt was like a shelf and I had a really big stomach, I had never seen myself that way. I was embarrassed. But when clarifying with my daughter, she told me my butt didn't look like a shelf. So I decided I'm not going to pay attention to others and just enjoy today and my new weight.
  24. My surgeon let us eat yogurt and sf pudding the first week post op. It's creamy and easy to swallow. I used a really small spoon to take little tiny bits.
  25. Congrats! You are doing really good. Cut the Cipro into tiny pieces and take it with yogurt or SF pudding. ;)
