  1. I sleep on my stomach but I haven't had a fill yet. First fill 1/23/1. Hopefully I'll still be able to sleep on my tummy!!
  2. I usually weigh myself weekly I don't have a scale at home (broken) so I weigh myself at work.
  3. Kimmis Mommy I am a nurse and I really think that you need to inform your doctor right away to get his take on it. I believe that you really need the nutrition for the baby and waiting 2 weeks or more is not a good idea. Things happen at mysterious times and way, Please let us know how things go and the best of luck to you.

Congratulations on your successful weight loss and if you need any support just know that there is alot of people here willing to listen. Take care and I hope to talk to you again.   5. Eggs that are too dry and tuna that was too dry got stuck for me so far!!
  6. Yes I'm tired all the time but my excuse on top of being banded is I'm up everyday at 5:30am and usually not inot bed til 10:30pm some times later cuz I have 2 teenagers!! lol Hopefully life will settle down some in the future.

  8. I read this and over Christmas I too feel like a failure. I have eaten way too much and things I probalby shouldn't. I have yet to be filled so It seems like I can eat without feeling to full. I get filled 1\26. But I'm really going to stop this picking at sweets and stuff right away.. So thanks to some of you who have had the band for awhile and for letting me know that its a wholel mind set and it me that needs to control my hunger and that the band is only a tool!!!

  10. Yes I have has the smae problem> Some days I feel out of control too. I wsa banded 3 weeks ago so no fill yet but I seem to want to eat more then I should and the holiday treat are a killer. Can't wait til there are no more treats around. Good Luck to you!!
  11. I had to be at the hopsital at 11:30am didn't have surgery til 2:00pm was out by 7:00pm. I think they might push ppl out to fast!!! Wasn't feeling the best. I hope your journey goes great, good luck!
  12. I also have some thickness around my laergest incision. I have like a discomfort on my left lower abdomen I'm sure it is due to the port but I can't feel the port? Where is the port located actually?
  13. I was banded on 11/30 one day before you and I remember burping a lot and it hurt. Now I don't burp nearly as much. I think it's pretty typical to burp. Hope all goes well for you!

  16. I was banded on 11/30 and I remember the first couple days post op it was horrible for me but now am so much better. So things do get better like they say. Good Luck to you!

  18. Wow I was banded on 11/30 and my first post op visit is 12/19. I can eat pretty much anything right now. I hope I don't get a fill for awhile yet. But we shall see.
  19. The pain killers made me so nausea so after day one post op I couldn't take them anymore. My gas pain wasn't that bad but looked and felt bloated. I hope everything goes well for you Justbrian!! Keep us posted.

  21. So i'm 2 weeks post op and doing pretty good now. Had a bout with nausea 2 days post op. My question now is what do you take for pain relief. Currently I'm taking liquid tylenol but would like to change to pill form. I've heard you shouldn't take ibruprofen is this true or not. So what do people take?
  22. I haven't even been filled yet and if I eat to much I do alot of burping. I do better if I make sure to realy chew my food good and eat small portions.
  23. Wow, I had pureed food for about 3 days and now on soft food and I make sure to chew my food alot. I've been eating alot of cottage cheese and yogurt things like that.
