i wish you all the best, me getting the lapband was the best choice i ever made, i was on a kitosisis diet for 3 weeks before the surgery ( pure protein diet*all meat* ) it was torture, pure meat every meal every day every week, but i lost alot of weight due to that you eat all protein so you wont get hungry and burns some excess fat
trust me this will all be worth it, cant wait to hear how it all goes
