You are going to be ok. The whole process of having the band can be very challenging at times emotionally. I have a couple teenage kids that make it even more crazy. I call my brain a fat brain because I still get upset at times over food. I am working on that still. Dont worry it takes time and lots of patience. Besides if you are anything like me. I've been plus size almost my whole life. Its not a walk in the park to change the emotional feelings behind our food intake. Take it a day at a time. Also start meal planning for the near future when you can have food. I sugguest buying 1 cup portion glass Pyrex bowls it works wonders

Congratulations Michael!!! That is truly amazing! I am 9 months post op and have lost 60 lbs. I seem to be at a standstill for a very long time now. But of course I know it is my own fault. I am losing will power daily!!! I must get back on track soon or else!!!!!!!! Do you have any before and after pics posted? I would like to see them. Take care and good luck towards your goal! I know you will do it!!! Such courage and will power you have!

Go in the store and try them on first. Don't buy anything without it having your approval first. You worked hard to get to this point. Make it worth it. Feel good in what you wear. Good luck!

It has its ups and downs but worth the effort. I have 3 kids two are teenagers. Needless to say they only want to eat the things I buy for my diet needs. Then when I get enough for them they don't want it and complain that they only have healthy stuff. My teenage daughter is one the biggest challenge. My sister doesn't help either making things I can not have at all. Then she tries to serve them to me insisting I try it. So I totally hear where you are coming from. We can do this though!
