  5. I am struggling myself in finding a exercise routine and meal planning to follow. I do have Pyrex 1 cup bowls that I picked up from Target. It helps with portion control. I want to be one of those people that gets up at 5 am just to exercise and daily on top of it. I use Sparkpeople (its free) to track food and exercise. I plan for 60 grams of protein a day. I was banded May 2011. I find when I fill my 1 cup bowls for the week on Sunday it helps. I started measuring my snacks in snack size Ziplock baggies as soon as I buy bigger bags of rice cakes and stuff. I have Laughing Cow cheese wedges for a snack which are only 35 cal. Pretzels sticks or apples and peanut butter. Hope this helps Crystal

Rant. Emotions. Crying. Enter Post At Own Risk.

Hey, don't worry we all will be drop dead HOT soon enough. Don't ever think the way someone remembers us is a bad thing. It just means we have a spot in their memory bank. Better to be here on earth than not. Big or small. Keep your head up and working hard. Crystal

    Considering Lapband...is It Worth It?

On any site their is going to be neg and pos post. We have to keep in mind its part of life. I hope that those who are interested in having lap band surgery do their own research. Yes, it is a life long commitment. It takes work to get thru the bumps in the road. Protein intake, water intake, vitamins. I am still adjusting and will have success. Down 50lbs or so and more to come. Looking forward to a healthy long life with my family. Wishing everyone a wonderful NEW YEAR!!!! Crystal

    Stalled! Need Suggestions

Lakeshia I to had my surgery in May 2011. Started out at 289lbs now stuck at 238lbs since Oct. I don't go back to my doc till Feb. I am looking at what things I'm eating and trying my best to increase exercise which hasn't ever interested me. Zumba classes are my new find love. Thank GOD for my gym membership it makes me go. I had 1cc put in on Sept 1st then had to go get .5cc taken out the next day I couldn't even keep water down lost 4lbs over nite and throwing up continousely. Therefore I am at my max fill's I believe unless someone out here has more info for me on this topic. I keep thinking ok if I'm at my max what the heck I'm I doing wrong??? Having A Hard Go Of It

Exercise is a big weakness of mine. I start going to the gym then find every reason not to go. I have been doing light weights and stretching at home and work daily. I need to really get a spark going because my weight isn't moving. So exercise yes not my favorite.
