    Almost 3 months out...

I had my surgery on 8/3/11. I lost 48.5 pds..and had a few stalls but I don't sweat it. I know it will come off ,The slower the lost the more it gets me to work my eating habits and thats fine with me.

    The Confession

I knew I was going to get that response too from my family so,I didn't tell anyone until sunday before my wedesday surgery date..I didn't not want there negative opinion I just thought they should know in case they were looking for me..My husband and daughter were my support group. My friends had mixed emotions..But 3 months later and 50lbs lighter there very supportive...Not my family though ,but that's there hangup not mine...yea me!
  3. Hello everyone. I'm new to this website and I'm working on my story and will post it very soon. I just wanted to stop by and say "hi."My journey started on may 21st when I went to orientation at Crozer Medical Center in west chester Pa. My surgeon was Dr.Katz..(He is the best) and the hospital staff was wonderful..From when I started my tests to Post op .It was great experience..I was on the fence about this operation for about 4 years..but finally made the decision to go for it..Sometimes I forget I had anything done..Except for when I eat I just get full fast. But I am in tune with my stomach it kinda makes this feeling and I know its full..I do not try to eat anymore.I have never got sick or anything like that..I just still have to learn to chew more before I swallow it down..That stuck feeling gets me scared...so I walk to digest it..My body has changed so much I hardly recognize it..I go to the gym 3 times a week..so i can tighten this extra skin..I want to give a big thank you to my husband charlie. He has been a big supporter for me...I couldn't do it without him..Thanks for reading...I will post more later.
