Well...not really sure where to start but here we go. I can say as most other people I have been over weight most of my life. I have tried every diet available out there. With some sucess I lost some weight with them and aventually put it back on plus some. It has been a constant battle sine I can remember. I have not been banded YET. But I do have my first Dr. consultation next week. Wish me luck=)

I would not lie if I was to tell you that I am scared of everything about having a band...from having surgery to failing when I am banded. But I keep telling myself the benefits are greater then the risks. I have put a lot of thought and time into researching about the band, and have had many long conversations with my husband about it. It is clearly one of the most important decisions I will make in my life...but that is just the thing, It is for my life and this is why I have made the choice to do it. I would greatly appreciate any support and input from any friend out there. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
