My name is Dawn and I am newly banded! I am the mother of a 16y boy and twin 9y that are a boy and girl! I have been struggling with my weight since I was a child. My mom was banded 5 years ago and has had great sucess. She lost 100 lbs and has kept it off! So when my insurance approved my surgery I was thrilled! It was really a very quick process for me I called on September 1 2011 and spoke with the dr office and they did the rest. I had surgery 10/26/11 so it was pretty quick! I am so happy I made the choice and have also found this great forum!
