  1. I've had a wide range of emotions, but this site brings my journey all together for me. To see so many here that have had such a life changing experience also makes me so excited. I'm having my pre/op appt. on the day you are having the surgury so good luck as I'll be thinking of your success! Having mine done by Dr. kemmerling at Aurora in Green Bay. Good luck and keep me posted!
  2. Just got approved for my sleeve surgury. Dec 5th is the big day! So now I'll spend more time here reading the stories for support in what I have chosen to do. So sick of being fat. 6'1" 305. I've been a big guy for the last 30 years. Started power lifting in my early 20's and the weight just added up. But I had a 30" waist! huge biceps and a 48" chest. all good and then I stopped lifting and running. Ahhhhhhhhhh The weight wouldn't come off and now almost 30 years later I'm here. So sick of seeing my belly and feeling uncomfortable. Hips hurt, knees hurt and little endurance. I can't wait to be thin again!!!!!!!!!!

    My Journey

I'm close by, near Hwy 64/32 north of Suring WI. and have surgury on Dec 5th. lets stay in touch as we are so close. Good luck!
  4. I went on a all liquid diet 8 years ago. lost 85 pounds and my doctor wanted me to loose 25 more pounds. I looked like I was starved to death at 200 and still wanted me at 185. 210 was good for me as I'm 6'1" and large framed guy, old power, body builder guy here. So I chose the 210, to bad I didn't keep it off and now getting the sleeve surgury Dec 5th! You will now what weigh is right for you, and beleive me, if you look to skinny your friends and family will tell you, mine did. lol Good luck in your journey
