You need to try on protein sample to find one that you can tolerate. Don't buy huge protein pack just go with sample. Gnc, vitamin shoppe has different kind. Good luck

Am flying back home to Boston from fl after flaunting my ass daily on the beaches... Lol, now got on the airplane so tired I found myself on two seats sleeping comfortably. Size 6 is a dream comes true. In Atlantic city for connecting flight, overweight lady bought 2 seats next to me, I was able to cross my legs underneath me and rest my head on her thigh. Gee could it get much better than this? All I wanted ti shout was" the freaking sleeve b*****s" but I restrain myself

Almost a year out, I pay only $3.50 for my toll to the hospital . Like I said I am the perfect specimen for the sleeve. No 6 months diets, no waiting, no contacting insurance, nothing under 2 months I was done and out! Blessed or lucky?

Again Kendra, if you are lucky like me lol, you won't have the hassle to deal with. I started my process around my bday in July and had my surgery sept 14. I didn't have to contact my insurance, no requirement, no preop diet, I was breezing thru the whole thing. I only got my surgery 2 months later just because I wanted my black surgeon and he was all book. I don't post much just becoz I can't relate to a lot of thing but I can tell you this: it is the best thing you can do for yourself

Funny how I have been battling that bacteria since I was in H.S , however when it's time for my surgery , sucker wasn't there., after surgery, boom there it is! Got some antibiotic by the GI doc but my surgeon discontinue them 4 days later, retested: gone! I am starting to believe that I am made for that sleeve! Lol, stayed 2 days in the hosp, no pain, back to work by day 5, size 6 in 8 months, no excess skin, I still have my shape unlike others. My only side effect so to speak are deflated boobs, again I went from 40 dd to 36 d. I am the perfect specimen, yes I said SPECIMEN !

Which is why I don't tell nobody about my surgery including my family. I don't need their drama or bully!

I can relate girl, my brother is a pig, eats whatever whenever and we both were athlete but guess what, he stays slim while I was exploding like a balloon but hey no more I am killing it

I took 5 days off from work, with a baby, it's can be harder for you. Main thing I would suggest is not to lift anything over 20-25 lbs, walk around as much as you can!

Devon, we tend to have gallbladder issues after surgery therefore it becomes one of the criteria to be scan before the procedure, hey I got no gallbladder so I didn't do the scan. I would have take you if you were in Boston

I had my hair loss around 6 or 7 months but I add biotin to my vitamin and my hair comes back stronger and thicker. I have bicep thanx to those ghetto hair I have now....lol

We can't tell you what kind of protein to drink as everyone bud tastes does change after surgery, your best bet is to go with sample and pick one that suits you the best. I too use fusion and sometimes "well alive " honey you will lose your hair and you need biotin now. Fusion vit is ok but lack of biotin so alternate both.

Don't forget to get out of bed as soon as they told you, I know if I was your nurse I would have get you moving ASAP too. Even with pain , do your best, it speeds recovery, prevent bloot clots. Very important! I am positive you are going to be fine, you are making the right decision.
