  1. I would like to know , if anyone out there has had the band on for more than 10 years. If you are done with the fills, Should you have removed? Or just leave alone and leave it in forever (scary thought).
  2. I can eat anything with no problem. At times if anything is to dry it doesn't go down, so it must come back up.
  3. After my surgery, I was just sore. Had the surgery on Friday went to work that Monday. I sit all day so I was not moving around alot. Drinking no problem , just the food small pieces. You will know if it was to big, because you will have to vomit to get it out. I still do this every now and than.
  4. I'm sorry to hear how upset you are. You are not alone. I also am 2years in and it did not work for me. I had the surgeon remove all the solution and still cannot eat everything. But my concern is why they told you it had to be removed. Because if it did work you would have left it in forever. I wondering if it was for the money and they new you where paying out of pocket. I have worked with doctors my whole life. Thats what they do for a living making money off of us. So just because it didn't work you should of not had it removed. My doctore said , it could stay there forever. You just have a cat scan to make sure everything is ok. Where did you have your surgery? Well just forget about it and don't waste your enery on this. I know how disappointed this is for you as for me. But I'm still healthy, overweight yes but happy.
  5. Hii, Maggie, I know I haven't been perfect but I feel that the only thing it has done is I can't eat anything dry . I have not lost anything and its been two years. I had my surgeon remove all solutions out and still feel the same. I cannot eat everything. I'm afraid to have it all removed and go under anesthesia again. I happy to hear it worked for you.
