I would go to your appt and speak with the surgen. Ask questions. I have not had a band slip but I know their are others on here who have and hopefully will be along soon with more info. I wouldn't panic until you talk to the surgen though. As for that pain you had...sounds a lot like the pain I had when I had gallbladder attacks. Not saying that's it but just throwing it out there. I got my surgens office to text me the before photo they took of me! So here is a side by side comparison! I went from 260 to 158 in 13 months. From a size 22 pants to a size 10

Banded 10/19/11 starting weight was 260. Current weight is 151. 109 pounds lost so far

Checking in at 150.9! 2 pounds lost this week. .9 to go for this months goal! 10.9 pounds to my ultimate goal

Over 100 pounds down now and no loose skin for me. I am younger (banded at 29) so maybe that is a factor but I know I am and feel very lucky!

I had the flu this past week. I spent all Tuesday night throwing up. Didn't feel any different than it did pre band. Now had it kept up into Wednesday I would have called my surgen and asked for some anti nausea meds because to much vomiting can cause band slippage. Also I don't feel any more or any less restricted than I did before but everyone is different. This is just my personal experience

Yes..I needed 3 years and I was missing one. The ins. Coordinator at my surgens office told me to write a letter and explain that I didn't have the 3rd year due to moving out of state. Was never an issue and was approved my first try. I had aetna insurance. Good luck!

I had lap band in oct 2011. I had to have my gallbladder out in Feb. 2009. I had lost about 50 pounds.

I do not weigh daily...but I had my TOM and thanksgiving dinner all in one week and lost 1 pound this week.
