Banded 3/29 no big deal sleeping on my tummy(belly)terryr

I was banded 3/29 and everything's been going very smooth. Never had any restriction at all after about 10 days after surgery. This afternoon I ate a hard boiled egg with out even thinking about the band,talkingand eating don't mix. This is the very first time for the"golfball in the chest"feeling so I know this thing works.terryr

i used the strips at first but then i saw they make gas x chewable tablets which have twice the chemical in them.They seemed to work much better. terryr

I was banded 3/29 and my doc. said no problem w/ req. coffee. terry

sunnysea are you getting your fill mon? that's even sooner that mine after surgery. he scheduled mine at 28 days. terry

I had dr. Kirchenbaum in denver with a 3/29 surgery date. Before I left his office we scheduled a 4/27 fill date. (go figure I guess) terry

Has anyone from dr. kirchbaum with surgery in march,had a fill yet? I had surgery 3/29 with a 10 cc band. Just wondering how many cc he is doing on the first fill or if everyone is about the same or if it's a judgment call on his part. Everything sofar with him has went very smooth. terry

I had Dr. Kirchenbaum in denver do mine and I asked specificily if I could go the nite before surgery,and he said no problem. I even asked about alchohol to which he said no problem. So we found a nice microbrewery just a couple of bloks from the motel and had a nice steak (no potatoes) and a couple of martini's. Just had to get back early enough to do the laxative thing looking back I guess it was good that mine surgery was'nt until 330pm in the afternoon terryr

Hey mark and shesha how'sthings going? Had my band done thurs. by dr. K in Denver. don't seem to be in a lot of pain right now because that liquid vicodin really doe's the trick for relieving what feels like a strained muscle. Did you guy's use any liquid tylonol or chewable's? also bee drinking large amounts of water and broth.Stomach sounds very loud and churining all of the time,but I don't seel hungry so I guess that's ok.I also gained 4lbs. since the day before surgery but I think it's from the beef/chickrn broth.What other kinds of liquids did you drink for the first week? Also no bm since day before surgery,is this normal? any info would help,I thought I knew all the answers before sugery but it's different now that I khow it's inside me!!!!! Thanks terry r Also is that gurgling noise after I drink water goinh though the band,seems to take about 10/15 seconds after taking a swallow

Had my band installed by dr. K in Denver thurs. No gas pains or anything,but my stomach sounds like a freight train.I've been drinking tons of fluid actually gained 4 lbs. Am I supossed to be able to drink as much as I want? Also did anybody see how much sodium is in broth? That can't be good for you!!! any feedback would help. thanks Terry r

can you slam a 20oz water or gatorade after surgery? Or do you have to sip it? terry r I should have said after healing 1or2 monthes from surgery
