Hi Everyone:) I am from Marinette and am working to get the $$$$ together so I can be a Bandster!:D

:)Good luck to you, sunnysea! Are you getting the money for your copay or are you self pay? where are you planning on getting your band? keep us posted on your journey!

Hello from Superior!! Looks like we're neighbors jqpublic!

I had my surgery July 5th at St. Mary's in Duluth with Dr. Jay Lenz...down 90lbs by 6mo bandiversary!!

Hi Chubbola, I am a self pay and was going to have surgery in Green Bay but had a harder time coming up with $17,700 than I thought I would. Anyhow I am now planning on traveling to Denver to Dr. Kirshenbaum, he charges $10,000. I will then need to travel to Madison for fills. I have $5,000 together and hope our tax refund is big! sunny-

i've heard of a lot of people heading down to denver for their surgery! i've also heard of somewhere in texas where they have it for 10,000 also. they have different financing options there, too! believe me-if i had to self pay i'd head south too! it's just too expensive in wisconsin right now! and now that WLS is a covered benefit for medicare, i'm in competition for a spot on the surgery table! they told me if i was self pay they'd squeeze me in sooner---imagine that! i'll be hoping for a big tax return for you! talk to you soon
