  1. Thank you guys for the little extra support I needed it. I wish I could stop weighing myself but the Doc told me I had to weigh and write it down everyday so he can see it. Bleh! Id rather not because on days like this its best not to know you gained a pound in one night.. lol
  2. So I had my band on Jan 3rd 2010. 10 days post op and Ive lost about 12 pounds. I am super excited and all that jazz.. It seems like my scale is stuck between 263 and 264 and no matter what I do It just seems to go down to 263 and the next morning im up again. I thought about throwing my scale into a blazing fire of dark abyss but I need it..lol Ive been walking and trying not to over do it with liquid.. anyone else have this problem? I really need the scale to love me again Its starting to bum me out. anyone?
  3. Im only 10 days in and i feel the same way..Im so hungry and aggravated. I get full drinking the liquids but a little while later im hungry again. I dont know what to do. I thought about starting mushies a little early. can you do that? Another thing I lost 10 pounds the first 5 days after surgery which Im thinking might have been water weight.. Now my weight is going between 263 and 264 and not really doing anything is that normal? Help
  4. So here I am. Nice to meet you all Back in April I had my first meeting with my surgeon and went through a 6 month diet nutrition class, psych eval, all that good stuff, Thursday was my last day of wait and all my paper work has been sent off to Tricare for Approval. I decided to go on to the tricare website to check out the requirements again and its making me a little nervous. Is 100 pounds over ideal weight for height and bone structure and has one of these associated conditions: diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cholecystitis, narcolepsy, Pickwickian syndrome, hypothalamic disorders or severe arthritis of the weight-bearing joints Is 200 percent or more over ideal weight for height and bone structure Has had intestinal bypass or other surgery for obesity and because of complications, requires another surgery (takedown) These are the requirements now. Why im nervous My BMI is 43 and I have fat deposits on my liver which can become something more and dangerous. But im not sure if that really counts as a co-morbid. Also I weigh 276 and my ideal weight is 140 which is about 4 pounds shy of 200 % Anyone else have tricare and do u think I might be approved, This waiting period is killing me even tho its only been a few days
