Aggghhhh!! Please give me an answer!

Anthem didn't get my approval done on Friday, so we are still playing the waiting game. Technically they have up to 30 days, but it should have already been done. It is the medical department holding it up. The insurance end had it coded in two days. Yuck!

Anthem says all my approval lacks is the RN going over it. It should be done tomorrow. Fingers crossed :0)

Bought all the supplies for our Veggie Tales "8 Polish Christmas Dishes" party with my son's multi-needs handicapped class on Friday. We are going to have a blast with them :0)

Christen, the nurse from Anthem, called me and said my surgery had been denied, but not to "wig-out" or anything. She said Dr. Pinson needed to do a peer to peer and everything should be fine. She said I should have surgery on Feb. 14 as planned.

Doctor's appointment this morning...down 84#.

Got to file my taxes today and I spoke with both the ins. and the dr.s office yesterday. Maybe things are getting ready to improve for me * fingers and toes {and eyes if it will help..hehe} crossed*

Had a Dr.s appointment and was expecting a weight gain after all the holiday eating, but the scale showed me down 3 lbs from my last visit. Happy!

Had to take my littlest one to the doc today. A few chest x-rays later, they tell us he has pneumonia again (10+x). Also found out his eardrums are scarred 

I baked four dozen cookies for school teachers today and ended up eating three of them myself. Bad mama! I sure did do a good job though..lol. :0)

I bought four six-packs of isopure at a salvage store in our area today. I paid a grand total of $7.50 for everything. What a steal!

I got a letter from my insurance company requesting "additional information" on my condition to determine "if your plan covers the requested services." this is a bunch of baloney! They know my plan covers it and that I qualify. They just don't want to pay up.

I got to go out with a friend tonight. After dinner we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought me a demitasse spoon, appetizer fork, hot/cold spill-proof mug, intak thermos water bottle and thermos insulated purse. I'm getting ready!

I had the most awesome day today; delivering all of that family's stuff, spending the afternoon with my son's multi-needs handicap class and playing with a guinea pig (I'm a big kid). After my shots yesterday and my steroid pills today, I have just been ecstatic. Haven't had even the slightest twinge of pain. That is a utter miracle for me!

I have everything finished. Having a bit of a runaround between the doctor's office and the insurance company, but my tentative surgery date has been set for Dec. 6. Here's to hoping everything goes well and quickly!

I just got the call from the doctor's office to set up my pre-surgery appointment/education class! She told me to be there Wed. (Feb. 1) at 8:30, wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared to stay all day. My pre-op diet will start on Friday. Still waiting on my letter, but the ins. Assured her it was coming *please X*

I just talked to Anthem and they said my doctor's office eneceated the approval process on Oct. 26. He said they usually tell people to give them 15-30 days to finish, but that mine was already in coding and it should be finished this week! He said that they had my surgery date set for Dec. 6, so it looked like everything was fine. I'm getting really excited. I hope it all comes through good :0)
