Day 1 Pre-op diet! Going ok s ofar. My college daughter is coming home today and the first workds out of her mouth, whats for dinner? I am going to GNC to stock up on shakes and to Taco Bell for her dinner.

So ,just a little freaked out right now! really didn't think I would get approved but I did and now all of these appointments are flying at me! Surgery date Dec 6. Really nervous and scared!

Ok ,just called BCBS and talked with the nurse on my pre-approval, she is very nice and said she couldn't find my Throid Levels on my blood work. I asked her to look for it again while I was on the phone, she found it and said "oh yeah" you are approved and then said of wait, let me call you back. I said wait!!! No, you said approved!! Now I am waiting!!!

Day 3 of waiting for approval, called insurance company and said they needed my Thyroid Levels, I was like, is that with my blood work? Had to call dr ofice and get them to submit my levels.

Dr Newman called me today finally with my Upper GI and gall bladder ultrasound results after one week, everything looks good. Did have a large stone in gall bladder but he was not too concerned about it or having my gall bladder removed. I am not having any problems related to the stone and he said I have had it for years. He did say however,I will be having it removed sometime before I die. It is not going to be a problem for him to do the surgery. So, does this give me medical clearance for...

Going Saturday for 2nd appointment with psychologist. Got nutritionist approval letter sent. So, thinking by Tuesday next week my coordinator should be submitting insurance approval!
