  1. DAY 25 - 293.6 lbs

I don't really eat much anymore. I'll have my morning shake, a banana for lunch then veggie juice the rest of the day. Yet I still work out 2 days on, 1 day off for an hour at the gym. I'm dropping weight and pant sizes like a brick.

Dunno why but losing weight makes me lonely.

I walked into the fat store to get some new clothes for a "date", since all my stuff hangs off me like a homeless man. So I get to my "date", and she tells me she just wanted to hang out and has no romantic interest in me at all. Kinda sucks. Maybe you should have mentioned that long ago before we went out.

Turns out she sleeps on her apartment floor, is 30k in debt and has no job, and is emotionally unavailable. Oh, and wants to read tarot for a living. Maybe you should have mentioned ALL THAT TOO before we went out. Kinda sad that I'm so lonely I still kinda wanted to date her after these revelations. It's 1am, she gets out of the car and just kinda waves at me. I could feel my heart bleeding inside my chest. The first time I've interacted romantically with a girl in 2 years, and I get a forced smile and even a forced wave.

  2. I got another $300 medical bill in the mail at my old address. I just happened to talk to the new resident, who said "hey I got some mail for you from a long time ago". Really? It claims to be part of my procedure, however it's not from the hospital and the company seems to be a scam. They claim my insurance paid most of it, but my insurance hasn't heard of these people.

    Anyone else experience this?

    Here's why I think it's a scam:

    1) The company's finance department is ONLY open on weekends

    2) Their answering machine sounds like someone's kid did the recording

    3) Even though it's from 2.5 years ago, it doesn't appear on my credit record, yet was due 7 months ago

    4) They don't know my social security number, license number, anything about me other than my name and address

    5) Why would they wait 2 years to bill me?

    6) They DID NOT process anything through my insurance

    To clarity dates:

    - Surgery: 1/31/2011

    - Bill due date: 2/17/2013

    - Mail stamp date on the envelope: 1/7/2013

    Opinions?

  3. DAY 1 - 320 lbs

    DAY 10 - 311.7 lbs

Haha, I'm glad people are making smoothies, drinking fresh green juices!

    You guys rock.

Uh - average day. I may not post every day anymore, since nothing significant is going on. Maybe once a week. The weight continues to shed. Inches are dropping off.

  4. DAY 1 - 320 lbs

    DAY 9 - 312.5 lbs

Well I've dropped half a pant size in a little over a week. My legs rub together less, and I'm sleeping like a baby again. The weight loss slowness I think it because I'm building muscle from aerobics 6 times a week.

So yesterday I kinda screwed up - had two bananas for Breakfast, a banana for lunch and then for dinner I had planned a nice salad. However after suddenly realizing I barely touched my juice, I consumed a very large 40oz worth over an hour's time.

And then I wasn't hungry. At all for 4+ hours. No salad, no nothing except 3 bananas the entire day. DOH, that's probably bad. But I just wasn't hungry at all. Probably how these juice fasters make it work - they eat 100% raw a few weeks before, so they weren't all that hungry anyhow. So today I'm trying to stuff more food down my gut. Originally I'd planned to not eat until I was hungry, but I'm NEVER hungry. A far cry from eating 3 pizzas in a week before I started this journey, eh?

So for Breakfast I had a smoothie:

And people are STILL concerned about my Protein (which I get almost 50g a day). Here's how:

2+ handfuls of organic spinach with every smoothie. And I *try* to get 2 smoothies in a day. And then a banana for lunch (plus my coffee), and tonight I'm having a salad (I swear this time).

  5. Anyone else addicted to weight loss praise?

YOU DID FANTASTIC! when losing some weight. People are happy, excited for you. You get attention from everyone.

    And then ...

It fades. And you're just a normal person once you reach your goal. Sadly, the bonus attention is very addicting for me. And when I was young, I remember gaining/losing 100lbs more than once because I wanted that experience again (I had other addiction problems, but that was one of the weight cycling causes amongst many others).

    Anyone else?

  6. DAY 1 - 320 lbs

    DAY 8 - 312.7 lbs

Going on 8 lbs in 8 days. I'm fairly happy thusfar. Drank one of those huge smoothies last night at 8pm. NOT RECOMMENDED. Even though I went to bed at midnight, it was still sitting on my stomach. Woke up still nasty full so only had a banana for Breakfast. Hit Sam's Club again today and got some organic spinach, mushrooms and grape tomatoes to make a salad for dinner. No more smoothies that late.

I'm starting to post my DAY 1 starting weight before my daily weigh in, so new readers can easily see the difference.
