  1. Yes, I m still floating and I turned in earlier than you did last night. I was in bed for 6:30 and closed my eyes around 7:30.:cursing: I was exhausted.
  2. DID YOU FREAKING SEE THAT?!?!?!?! IT WAS AMAZING!!!:woot: SAINTS!!!!
  3. Sue, I would think you just update when you have a loss...alas, I can't update, since I am a sucky bandster right now.
  4. Ok, I THINK the hiccups are gone. I do believe that there is liquids in my future...as in all day tomorrow. I am also going to take some ibuprofen before I go to bed tonight.
  5. Oh, crap...pbing the dang ribs. Got finished and started the hiccups violently. It hurt so bad I yelled out! Every hiccup is killing me and the dang kickoff is now and I can't enjoy it!
  6. Do you regret that it was necessary or are you having problems with your band? Your weightloss looks really good. I also started with a BMI of 50 and I have not regretted being banded at all.
  7. My friend, Amy, has a blog that is just amazing. She is very open, funny and entertaining. She updates regularly and shares pics. Once Upon A Time...In the Land of Cheese and Sunkist
  8. Oh, jeez, I just ate too much. I knew I shouldn't, but I can't eat the meat when it is reheated, so I ate too much of it now and I am miserable. Ugh, well, 1 hour 12 minutes until the Super Bowl!!! GO SAINTS!!!
  9. Well, Tracy, I can't call in sick if I'm not. I just know I will REALLY get sick if I do that. Besides, central office supervisors will be at our school doing observations. They like me, because I do my job well, and I would like to keep it that way. Sooooo, if I am on the list to be observed I would like to be there. As nerve-racking as it is, I like to get it over with. My hubby is grilling today. We are having babyback ribs, burgers and shrimp. I am also making homemade baked beans that are very tasty. I will be glued to my tv at 5:25!!!!
  10. It is good to hear you are on your way to complete recovery.
  11. Jenn: have you been to the doc? My friend had both flu shots two months ago and has the flu, and she is doing the same thing...fever of 102 + and bad cough, with backache. It must be a different strain of the flu we have down here. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Michelle: I hope your back lets up soon. It is so hard to get comfortable with that kind of pain; also, regarding your daughter, are they sure that she doesn't have a yeast infection. My daughter would get them when she was younger, but not anymore, and she didn't like going to the bathroom when she had one. I used to have to use the cream on her until it cleared up. I guess she doesn't get them anymore, because she is NEVER sick now and therefore doesn't take antibiotics. I hope whatever it is clears up soon.
  12. Tracy, my dh is grilling ribs tomorrow in the cold windy weather for the super bowl. New Orleans has school off on Monday, I am thinking a few more districts will have to cancel if too many people call-in "sick". My district, however, does not think that our beloved Saints going to the Super Bowl is holiday worthy...whatever!
  13. End....as in...SAINTS are in the ENDzone Yes, I am waiting for Sunday.
  14. Here is the link to the United Way in your area. This is the list of agencies they are affiliated with. AGENCIES Also, I was on the depo shot for one year only. It took me that long to realize that every time I got a shot, I would lay awake in bed thinking about the craziest stuff imaginable. The last time, I was thinking about divorcing my husband who had done absolutely NOTHING wrong. Once I stopped the shots, my crazy thoughts did too.
  15. Welcome and congratulations on your success with your pre-op diet so far. As far as being jittery, you will be so happy once it is done. After surgery, keep up with your pain meds, walk as much as possible, and stick to your post-op diet and you should be fine. Good luck!
  16. Stink:sad::sifone:
  17. If you are in school, you can reach out to a counselor. If not, check with your local chapter of United Way. They can refer you to a therapist who has a sliding scale for a fee. You will only pay what you can afford. BUT, the point is, if you feel like this, you must find someone to talk to.
  18. I am sorry you we too tight for that long. I am glad, however, you were able to get it taken care of yesterday.
  19. When you get off of the protein shakes it should stop. This happened to many people, including myself. It may be the whey in the drinks doing it to you. Hang in there, it should pass.
  20. avoid "Avoid the clap"...Jimmy Dugan A League of Their Own
  21. All by myself, Don't wanna live, all by myself, anymore Thanks, now I can't get it outta my head.
  22. Magnesium citrate. It is a clear liquid that you should be able to find at any pharmacy. It is what is used many times to "clean" you out if you are having surgery. Make sure you take it when you will be home for a while so when it works, you won't have problems.
  23. I have not had any problem like that, more that I get more constipated than I used to. That sounds like my oldest child after she had gallbladder surgery. Have you tried asking your surgeon?
