  1. Hi, I was banded on July 14th. My dietitian at my pre-op appt. told me if I was "starving" my dr allowed a "test" meal on the 8th day. This consists of a scrambled egg. If I could keep it down, I could move on to phase II. I had that egg this morning and it was the best meal I have ever eaten. Granted, it took 15-20 minutes to eat it, but I was ecstatic. Phase II for the plan they gave me consists of mostly "soft foods". I can have tuna, turkey, or shaved deli meats (all chewed very well or pureed), soft cooked vegetables, creamy soups, yogurt or sugar free pudding ( I am SICK of jello) and protein drinks. SO..... today I had one scrambled egg, 2 oz of tuna salad, 3 oz of sugar free pudding and some protein drink. I think how strict your plan depends on your dr. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
