Keep bugging them if you need to - my only symptom was the shoulder and side pain, never a temp, able to eat and drink, no vomiting or nausea. My doctor was shocked I wasn't sick from it. My first test showed no leak (after they found the abscess). About 10 days later when I was still complaining they did another test lying down because I was dizzy and it showed the leak when I rolled to my left side. This was one day after my 3rd month.

I remember as well and now the time has come. Glad your doing so well. Thanks for the support.

Well surgery was yesterday in the am. I was out of it all day fading in and out. i did get up and walked twice but that was it. i feel a little crampy and sore more so than pain. The cramping is in my chest. IS THAT NORMAL?I was told that its probably the drain. I can't explain its like a funny sensation I have been tolerating my liquids very well no vomiting or nausea.No purple in the bag. I lust feel tired sleepy with this weird sensation I am hoping is the drain. Dr A and Dr C are great they are checking on me around the clock. The nurses are so sweet and compassionate.I feel like a celebrity
So I just wanted say hello and thanks to all of you who have prayed and sent out positive vibes.

Hey Ya'll feeling better on the third day. Not much pain just some gas but, i have been able to go to bathroom. I had my xray of my stomach and everything looked great no leaks or nothing. I was given a Soup today and it taste pretty good. I only took a couple sips but i will finish it up. I am walking around more and feeling stronger. After I met the Doctors all my fears went away. You will be in great hands Seraphina and I promise you are doing the best thing for you. I can't believe i did it. It all seemed to happened so fast once I got here. Thanks for all the love and great vibes they are working. I'll be uploading my pre surgery video today on you tube so check it out.

I went to Mexcali Nov 2nd and had my vsg by Dr Almanza. I felt so weird in San Diego too. I just couldn't believe it was real. That the day had finally come. Everything goes smoothly. They know what they are doing and you will feel like a part of their family almost instantly. Welcome to the journey!

What's the upside to going back to having carbonated beverages? I know it's acedotal, but of the people that i have spoken with that had significant regains, the first thing they talk about doing when they "went off the wagon" was starting to drink soda again. I have read so many reports about the determental effects of carbonated drinks, even those that are sugar free, It also makes perfect sense to me that there is the potential for sleeve expansion with the increased gas which will be in the stomach. Additionally be very carefull if carbonated beverages and soda where something you drank alot of in the past. Testing the waters with it now may very well lead to a place you don't want to be. Don't make it a trigger food.< /p>

I have spent my entire life trying to be friends with you. I have been nothing but sweet, cute and funny.. but you never want anything to do with me. The hours I have spent trying to attain you are, quite frankly, time wasted. You have eluded me my entire life and I just wanted to let you know that I am no longer interested in a friendship. What hatred? What nonsense. I greatly admire ANY surgeon for sticking it out in all the schooling, and putting himself on the line to help other people. My criticisms are very specific, and ALL of my criticisms stem from actual incidents where doctors and their sales people (coordinators) turned their back on patients who developed serious complications, lied about it, and/or forced forums to remove the posts about these incidents, and/or threatened legal action if they weren't. And if I ever find out that Dr. Aceves has done that, believe me, he' ll join that list too. You seem to be one of those people that think these stories aren't real, that they aren't the stories of people just like you. You seem to be content with the ridiculous notion that people have the time and inclination to just make them up for some nefarious reason of their own that makes no sense at all. You seem to be one of those people that is completely willing to believe whatever a coordinator tells you because the price is right. A coordinator is a SALES person who's livelihood depends on getting you to believe anything they say. So I'm happy for you; you got yours, and you obviously don't care anything about the ones who didn't get theirs.
