  1. I have some mylanta, I'm wondering if I should get a over the counter flu med or just wait and see
  2. I've not yet 100% gotten the hang of what I can or cannot eat, what gives heartburn or nausea. My kids have been sick and I'm starting to feel nauseous. The problem I'm having is since my last fill problem and then going back for a unfill, I can't tell if its again a food issue, getting sick or both. I guess only time will tell
  3. What scares me is never.knowing how food.will affect.you and the band.
  4. So my surgeon and I agreed another fill would be good. Even though Ive lost 30 pounds, my appetite had picked up. I got the fill, did liquids 24 hours. I did mushies all day, then dinner I had a cup of chili. I cleared with the surgeon. I ate slow, chewed well. Two, three hours later my chest was on fire, I couldn't breathe nor get down water!I tried vomiting, mylanta, walking around, rubbing my chest,NOTHING WORKED!!! I did the same things over and over all night trying to get relief. So I was so anxious to get a unfill, that I was waiting in the parking lot when they opened. I got a unfill, felt 90% still some heartburn. How do you know what the best fit is? I lost three pounds in two days because of the bad being too tight. I don't want to have another dying episode and running back and forth to the office.
  5. I'm not sure. I will say thanksgiving I felt this way, but ive never stay full for five and a half hours, maybe four and a half tops! Ive now working out more to try to keep my mind off.
  6. After a fill and a checkup, I'm wondering if I may need to get another fill at my checkup 1/2. I feel my appetite is picking up and Im barely lost 2 pounds in the last three weeks.
  7. That's kind of where I am. My doc asks those questions, up til now I've been ok, im noticing I'm getting a little hungrier some says and the other days I'm where I think I'm supposed to be. I guess ill have to wait and talk to the doc.thanks
  8. I'm trying to figure out if I should ask for another fill at my next check up. One day I feel I'm in the right range, other days I feel I can eat more, its hard to know:(
  9. So I went to the follow up today and I've lost five pounds since my fill on 11/29.I go back for another follow up 12/26. I didn't get another fill. I'm ok for now.
  10. Thanks so much, I love the support here. I will let you guys know how the followup goes tomorrow. I now don't feel so alone.
  11. Arlene I excercise twice a week.I think I got spoiled losing that twenty plus pounds before my fill.I need to reprogram my thinking and remember to be happy with 1-3 pounds a week
  12. It's not disappointing. I'm now losing 1 pound or so after my fill so I'm disappointed I'm no longer losing as I was in the beginning. The first four weeks were awesome. Sorry, I was just venting I'm new at this
  13. Thanks everyone. I was thinking I was doing something wrong.I'm still learning and trying to figure out my green zone
